Fontana doesn’t allow car camping, does anyone know where I could? The deal gap motorcycle lodge allows it but they don’t take reservations so that’s risky.

Expand Fontana says they don't, but they are not actively looking and several people do. There are rooms available in the lodge if you call Fontana village and say you are with MOTD. Fontana also has a camp ground at the base of the Damn, just outside the village. You can also post on the MOTD facebook page that you are looking for a room/couch there a typically people with multi-bedroom cabins looking to rent rooms. STXMINI Posted April 13 Author Report Posted April 13 When down there, Mike, Minni , and I will be in cabin #617 at Fontana Village (Look for the Maryland flag on the porch) you're all welcome to stop by any time my MINI is in the driveway. We're leaving MD on Monday, staying overnight in SoVa and will arrive on Tuesday in case anyone else will be there on Tuesday. 1
