I'm looking for anyone that might have wornout, unused brake rotors or any other heavy gauge steel that they would like to get rid of.

If you've got anything laying around and you'd like to know that it's being put to good use for a fun project, give me a shout. PM or email if you have questions.

I've already got yours on the list Brian! :) Yes, Catalina that's what I'm planning on doing with them.

I've got a piece of scrap plate steel about 6" x 5" x 1" that is yours if you want it. I don't even remember where I picked it up. :hmmmm:

Correction... it is 6" x 8-1/8" x 1-1/4" and weighs a little. It might have been from my brother's torch practicing or blacksmithing days. Since it was definitely cut with a torch.

Bert - are you looking to just get rid of it or do you need a couple of $$ for it? I can take it off your hands at the next M&G if you can make it there.

Jab - Dang. That's how it goes though. I'm willing to be the garage down the street might have a couple.

Now I just have to get access to a welder and some ungalvanized chain! This will be fun!

Craig, It is yours, no cost. You have been a great help to me on a number of things. I hope to be at the next M&G and I'll bring it.

How much chain do you want/need? I might be able to help you there too. I've got some old stuff in my shop.

As for welders and torches... I got rid of those a few years ago. Sorry, I didn't have a need any longer and rent one if I need one.

Bert - I'll track some down - don't know how much yet. It won't be too hard though and I can always make up some cables if needed.

Rich - Once I get back from MTTS, let's get in touch and I'll be glad to take a couple.

I also got 10 used bowling pins in the mail... I bet my mail carrier hates me!

Bowling pins?? Chains?? Ok, now I'm more than curious...what's all this for? :questionmark:

You sure you want to know Katie? :)

Targets! I'm building targets that make sounds and react when they hit.

Targets! COOL! I like the plan. And the sound part is great.

I'm a silent but deadly bow and arrow guy myself but my mother did teach me to be a decent shot with a .22, .38, .45, shot gun, and a few other things. (Yes, my Mom, she is a former NYPD officer).
