Thanks for the tip, I'm not going with their exhaust but apparently Dinan makes a good ecu tuning kit that I'll be looking into.
Also as DINA has a partnership with BMW their parts do not void your warranty.

Looking good, looking forward to your progress.

Craven Speed has quality products, and has also supported MINIs Take the Beltway with prizes for many years.

If you were moving, they will likely attribute it is a rock hitting it making it a comprehensive claim on our insurance like @TGGRRR (Ali) said. I have seen this more than you would think on other forums recently. At least you got away with only a few cuts, and didn't result in a bigger accident.

Is changing the center trim on the grille to red on a non-JCW Mini frowned upon? Is it as bad as adding an "M" badge to a non-M BMW? I'd like to personalize my Cooper S and I like the look of the red center trim on the grille, but I don't want to be a poser (as the BMW fans call those who add M badges to non-M cars).
Your all good, he’ll MINI selling the aero and interior packages as options separate from the JCW performance parts. Dealers add it on all the time, I call it the “show no go” package.
As long as you don’t slap the badge on it, no one will think twice.

I'm planning on doing this too.
I took the grill off of my R56 and it was just a couple of clips, so pretty easy. I have a set of plastic tools that are meant for removing trim pieces, so hopefully that will help make sure I don't break anything.
I take the method of cross my toes, the grip it and rip it. LOL

here is a video to remove the whole grille, you can see the center clips in the video. Looks like you need to remove the grille to access clips. Seems easy to remove to ensure you don’t brake clips.

Has anyone been to this before? I'm going through Dragon withdrawal and think it might be fun. Maybe meet up with the Philly MINIs group to caravan?
I was about to ask the same thing. I notice Al for C3M was at it last year in the pictures.

Looking at a 2008 Sidewalk. Any red flags that anyone knows? Going from a supercharger to a turbocharger - Interested to feel the difference.
Thanks all -- Be Well
Early gen2 before the bugs where smoothed out, so check it over well for electrical gremlins. As the the N14 motor it has the usual suspects that should have been replaced (as for documentation or account for replacing): thermostat, water pump, oil housing gasket, timing chain and tensioner. Those are the big ticket items, but check for other oil leaks at the inner for example. A history of oil changes is good, the n14 is thirsty and people run them low which wears rings and other internals. If you can gt a compression test it is a good idea, might give you a preview of possible worn rings or failing head gasket.

Deciding what beer to bring to the brew swap, thinking Natty Bo. I can describe it as the oldest craft brewer In Baltimore.

I really need to set aside some time to plan and pack. I have had none, every time I think I can something comes up (work, job interviews, etc...) his getting out of the military is way to much work.
