Yeah, it's an 07 R56 S. The noise at start up, the chatter, it's normal. It's supposed to do that. They didn't tell you that where you got it installed??? Other noises, not so much. Did you break it in ok?

That shouldn't matter. The OS Giken Grand Touring can stand up to I think 300hp. The other clutch I think is up to 400. So that's not right. I would leave Out Motoring out of it and deal with OS Giken direct. Out Motoring is just a store basically. OS Giken has really good reputation. I don't know anything about Scandinavian Auto - my friend takes his Lamborghini to Bethesda Euro Cars. But I digress. I got my clutch installed at Passport MINI of Alexandria and like I said, haven't had problem. For as much money as that clutch costs, you shouldn't have issues after 2k. Especially with the throw out bearing.

Dude. That's not right. You should contact where you got it installed and OS Giken. I have the same clutch and haven't had issues. And I drive in stop and go every day. And not to mention, I don't baby my car. At all. I've had it since April and I think I've put 10k on it.

I spotted Rocko (Chris's old MINI) in Fairfax Corner. I confirmed with Chris that it is indeed his old car obviously. I tagged it and the new owner appears to be a lady! But I haven't spotted her on the forum yet. Oh and Collin from auto cross spotted SUVBAIT in MD today - it's a Bayswater. That tag is familiar but I can't remember the owner's name for the life of me.

I saw Audrey and Scoopie last week near Clock Tower in Herndon. I waved excitedly but realized I was in my coworker's red VW R32 (he came to play with is at Spring Fling!). Then last night, I saw Bert and Ernie on the Dulles toll road!!! I was so excited. Obviously lots of excited waving and honking happened!!!!

I've spotted two F56s recently. One was a volcanic orange with a white roof and a really unhappy looking guy driving (no sure why when he was flying and I was sitting in traffic!) and then this morning, a pepper white white checker roof and white stripes. I personally wasn't a fan of the white stripes on a white car but it's not my call! I was confused both times I saw them.

I'm at 71k on an early R56 (07!) and haven't had issues. I know one of our friends in C3M, Mark, had to take an emergency trip to MINI of Knoxville at the Dragon. Does it seem to be more common in later second gens?

I got my tires installed at PTUNING. I had them shipped directly there from Tire Rack!
