The Henderson Hall car wash is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week year ’round. The car wash has two bays—one covered, open bay and one uncovered, open bay with steps to reach the tops of SUVs, vans and trucks. It’s easy and convenient to use, with tire cleaner, presoak, foam brush, spot-free rinse and more. The carwash is coin-operated and takes quarters only. MCCS provides a machine to conveniently change bills to quarters at the rear of the carwash. Quarters can be deposited to add extra time any time before the five minutes are up. The carwash has three vacuum cleaners that cost 75¢ for the first five minutes and several vending machines with assorted cleaning accessories—towels, air fresheners, Armor All® and more—priced at $1. Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall in Arlington has one. Easier to get on with a military ID but I think you could get in after getting your car inspected just like you would to go to the bowling alley. No ID needed for the DIY car wash, just quarters!

Has anyone recommended Iwo Jima Memorial yet since we'll already be in Arlington before heading to Wolf Trap? Here's a cool shot that if we can find the right spot we can get the MINIs and the monuments in the background. the only downfall will be trying to not get a bunch of tourists in the shot.

So with parking being $15 and usually a pain in the butt... does anyone want to carpool or give me a ride from a nearby metro station?

Isn't their parking lot open later and free because of the IMAX movies? I've been there for a 6 or 7pm show and it was free parking. There are nice sculptures out front too.

I have class in the morning but I should be done by the time you all finish lunch (hopefully 1pm-ish) and can join in. Maybe someone can preorder me something on the go too!
