OK, Ray has it NYRican MC40

Thanks to everyone that came out, I had a great time and it was fun having so many people there. I'm wearing my MINI tattoos to work tomorrow For lost and found there was a blue camp chair left behind. Ray took it and he can arrange to get it back to you. Let us know if you lost a chair. Thanks again to Craig and Lona for helping with shopping and hauling all the stuff. Craig and Monty for cooking and all of you that came early and helped set up. Clean was a breeze with so many busy hands at work.

HA! good thing you fled, those people are cray cray

I just want to be sure that everyone noticed the instructions that I provided for GPS. I tested the below on Google maps and it works perfectly. I just tested on Waze and it worked there too. DCMM annual picnic will be held at Bluemont Park in Arlington Do not put Bluemont Park in your GPS, it will take you to the wrong side and you can't get to the shelter from there. Put the following in your GPS (Google or Waze) "Bluemont park public bathroom, arlington VA" You have to enter the park from Route 50

So I had to get an Xray today so went to the Alexandria hospital. As I get out of Tigger I see a nice Electric blue MCS parked behind us and her owner. I say "I love that color, it's my second favorite." Well I knew right away that I had found a MINIac as she launched into happily chatting about her MINI who is named Money Penny after James Bonds secretary. She also explained that Tigger was very appropriate since the author is British, I hadn't even thought of that. I gave her a card and I hope she comes out to play. She needs us

Looks great to me, I like the color combo

They will be raising funds/ supplies for an animal rescue group again. here's the note from Dale "YES Kathy, Animal Connections will be there again this year. So you are encouraged (strongly ) to bring donations that an animal shelter could use. Food mostly, dogs mostly, but some cats No Purina One if I remember correctly. Lets help out our pet friends and maybe take one of the adoptees home!"
-
No anger here, it's a process and the right name will come to you :motor:
-
October 2 all cars will be named, it's the right thing to do So happy there's an official day for this
-
I added a map to the event, it shows the park layout near our shelter. I circled the parking and the shelter. The Google map pics were taken in the summer so there are a lot of trees and it's hard to see the shelter. Set up people bringing in supplies can take the small road from the parking lot over the creek to the shelter but we can't have many cars at the shelter so please only drive over if you're unloading stuff.
-
Weather is looking great! Sunny and high 70's
-
I'm not going to open up RSVPs for this event because it is hosted by another club and we can RSVP there. If someone wants to coordinate a run to meet up with them we can start a different event and RSVP for that. I've been to this event before and it's a lot of fun and they fundraise for an animal rescue group.

Just a note, we aren't supposed to be selling stuff at the park so if anyone asks it's just swapping. ignore this note, I was getting my picnic locations confused. There is nothing in the rules about selling stuff

The picnic is next weekend!!! Looks like we're going to have a good crowd, looking forward to it Craig and I are shopping the day before so RSVP this week if you haven't so that we can shop accurately
