So I went out to dinner with a friend and the restaurant (Four Sisters) was packed so we sat at the bar. A guy sits on the other side of me with his son and I look down and see a second gen MINI key.
Well of course I pulled out my key and asked him about his MINI. I told him about the club and gave him a card. He has a clubbie, hopefully he comes out to play

I would say that the time commitment isn't huge, but the investment of energy is the important part. We need people that want to participate and keep the club vibrant, active and growing
So Quitta and I are walking the dogs through the neighborhood today and we see a couple in a volcanic Orange MINI right there in front of us coming to a stop. We both start waving and giving them the thumbs up and squealing in delight. She finally opened her window and Quitta yells "We both have MINIs" I'm yelling "Mine is orange"
The nice girl smiled and nodded but I think she was confused a bit. We let her go, but she was well greeted
This is a great idea Laura. Mark and I are staying in a fancy pants hotel with reservations at the fancy pants restaurant in Lancaster that night but could join up for the winery.
So I'm driving to work on 395 into DC and I see a chili red on my right, but she won't look at me. Then I see a spice orange coupe on my left and he is looking straight forward. I try to wave but he's just not looking. He has dealer tags so I really want this wave.
I let him in front (MINI privilege) and he crossed to the right.
I got next to him one more time and this time he looked and smiled and waved back!!!!! :itsme: :itsme:
It was a happy time
