ohhh, that does sound like a short. There are controls for the top up near the rear view mirror, I wonder if water is getting in and shorting out the switch.

Kind of curious, WHY does he want the top down in the rain? I've done it briefly to load something in that won't fit through the doors but that's it

I was out this afternoon in NW with the top down but it was K street. I forced a guy in a chili red with his top up to wave at me :wavey:

I replaced my Sony head but realized that the radio is probably fine as the wiring was so hosed by the prior installer. If anyone wants it please let me know, FREE!!! I think I got it about 3 years ago It will fit perfectly into a 1st gen

Who's coming to PTuning to caravan and who's going to meet us there?

There are now 350 people that have RSVP'd Yes on the PTuning page. They are planning to hit a VW dealer on the way over. They are not expecting all 350 to meet at PTuning for the caravan. I'm thinking that we meet up at PTuning and then stick together, bypass the VW dealer and just go straight to the Drive in. The theater holds about 500 cars Whoever gets to PTuning first should post here as to where the MINIs will be parked so that we can get together. Sound like a plan? Ali

I got a peak at the map for vendor row last night. I'll be in a tent between MINI Fini and Detroit Tuned. It's the spot where Helix frequently is located but they're over near Way and Henderson MINI. I'm excited, I've got a 20' x 30' tent and am ready to create some MINI art!!!

Whatever it is, it looks really cool. I had mine painted by MAACO Dale but he's down in Hampton Roads. He did a great job. The skirts do look similar to what I have. I really like the rear piece, can't wait to see this installed. You better get it done before the Dragon so that I can shoot it!!!! :top:
