  1. Perfect!!! We'll need gas and food!
  2. As long as I'm not leading I'm good with it

  4. Sounds good, especially if we get off of 81 sooner
  5. I'll chat with Mark about it. I really like to get there with a full tank of gas and get some groceries before settling in, but he's more of an adventurer than I am.
  6. You get double credit!
  7. Do you think it adds time?
  8. I'm attaching the run sheet in case you're interested in seeing it. CliftonRun.docx CliftonRun.docx

  10. Why do they have to put it so far away? What is the record anyway? MINIs on a bridge or just a certain amount of MINIs in the same location?
  11. :aetsch:
  12. There are 11 maybes, if you know for sure can you please update your RSVP so that I can give the restaurant a more accurate count
  13. I'm trying to go to this. It sounds fun but it's pretty far away. What we might do is carpool and then drive some of the Detroit people's spare MINIs to the event

  15. You can do it Craig!!!!

  19. That looks perfect, it's just over an hour from us. Is 7:00AM good for everyone to meet there? I know we'll probably roll out by 7:20
  20. Ok, so I think we have Haemish Craig Bill Mark Me All driving Sunday morning We could meet up by 7:00 AM, does anyone have a meeting place in mind? If not I'll look at the Google maps and find a gas station Did I miss anyone?
  21. The Pre-run and pre-eat went great. The meeting place has a community center where there are bathrooms but there's no gas or coffee so come with a full tank. Mark modified the run a bit so that we can drive about an hour and it's about 35 miles, so yeah, we're taking the long way :-) He likes to drive these roads to test out his set up so he knew some nice twisty fun roads. The roads weren't in bad shape but there were some rough sections with potholes. We're going to mention in the drivers meeting that you want to leave plenty of space between you and the MINI in front of you, there's still a lot of crap on the road like sand from the storms and bits of rocks. These roads have very few shoulders so there aren't a lot of places to regroup if we get broken up, but we identified a few. This is going to be a relaxed run to get out and enjoy your MINI and the scenery. The restaurant was really good and the staff was friendly and are looking forward to our visit. Can the people that replied Maybe please confirm either way so that I can give a better count to the restaurant
  22. Doing the pre-run today! :motor: :motor: Will probably try out the restaurant too :eating: :eating:
  23. I'm commenting to bump this
  24. I just noticed this special. I need to check that I have a subscription to the Vendor forum. I think Mark was looking to get new brake pads for Max, he doesn't like the OEM JCW ones
