  1. I thought of that area, but it puts us in 3 different directions and for this event I am trying to keep it simple. It's the first time I'm doing it. If this event is as fun as I think it will be, we should do another one along the Potomac.
  2. We don't really have the budget for prizes right now. Maybe if someone could get prizes donated...
  3. So I'm trying to simplify this event since it's the first time I'm organizing something like this. Since I don't think we can find a good area in DC where we can actually park the cars and shoot the monuments I'm going to drop that portion of the day. We'll still meet in Ballston, we'll head over to Wolf Trap We should have time for one other location. What about the roof of one of the Tyson's garage's? Or does anyone know another park in that area? I was thinking of Great Falls, but I don't know of an area that we could get the cars near the river. If anyone has ideas, feel free to share. What I'm looking to do is have fun, get some good shots and have a simple route, with easy stops. Ali
  4. It would be fun. I think the last one died because there was low participation and usually the same people entering. It would be nice to have more interest in it. Ali
  5. I'm sure we'll still be there at 7:00. It will be fun
  6. I hope you guys can make it, it will be a lot of fun
  7. :congrats::congrats::congrats: :dancing::dancing::dancing::elephant::elephant::elephant:
  8. Can you post a link with some details. I haven't heard of it
  9. I get fuzzy on the years, but I think 07 is the first year of the hard top second gen, so they should be the same. If I'm wrong I know someone will correct me.
  10. Mark has the twin of Celia's Dad's car, a stock '09 JCW. If Alexandria is closer you can come here that. Ali
  11. I missed the last meet and greet so really looking forward to this
  12. Actually Craig, Marty, Quitta and I are doing it. But Craig and I are the vocal ones
  13. Oh wait, the ones in my cartoon picture are not the ones he has now. Those are Web Spokes and they're from MINI. I looked at your pic and you have Tigger's last rims.
  14. Tigger's rims are Rota Torques in Hyper Black, I really love them Ali
  15. Mark and I will be there, we're bringing both MINIs because we don't share well. We plan to arrive on Sunday and are staying in a cabin at Fontana with Craig and Lona and Marty and Pammy. We signed up for the welcome dinner, and I signed up for bingo, Mark for the Brew swap. Can't wait Ali
  16. They replaced the part in the wheel but that was it
  17. They haven't given me any problems. I have an after market stereo that came in Tigger when I got him used. The steering wheel controls for the radio don't work when the weather is cold. They replaced them and it fixed one issue (I can now change stations on the wheel) but the controls still don't work in freezing weather. They said it was probably the wiring to my Pioneer, so they wouldn't fix any further. I was fine with this, they did attempt to fix it under warranty until they got to the after market part, that was fair to me. Ali
  18. Mr Buzzy is a fun name! Looking forward to meeting you and your MINI
