  1. That is cool, maybe now he'll buy a MINI :top:
  2. Since many of you are unfamiliar with the park, as you enter it you will be forced to turn. Go Right! If you go to the right, the road will wind up a bit and the picnic area is on the left. the parking is just past it. If you accidently go left you'll see a bunch of soccer fields and baseball, turn around and go the other way. it's not a huge park, there's only one sheltered picnic area. We have a lot of open grassy areas near the shelter.
  3. I would love to get a group shot with a bunch of MINIs, a bunch of us and the club banner as one of the shots to submit to MC2. So at some point I may start organizing the shot, if you don't want to be in it, that's fine.
  4. I tagged two MINIs in DC today, this is a record for me. There was a Pepper White Clubbie and best of all A HOT ORANGE S, it was like a little naked Tigger, not even stripes. In some ways without any vinyl it looked even more orange!!!!
  5. I am thinking set up will start around 10:00ish Craig - when are you planning to arrive?
  6. Here's a link to the details http://forum.nccbmwcca.org/showthread.php?7548-10-13-2012-Autocross-Regency-Furniture-Stadium We usually get 4 - 5 runs per session (an AM and a PM session). There are two heats per session, you work the course for one heat and then run the other heat. Mark and I try to do both sessions whenever we can, as we want seat time. If you're going for points and do all day only the morning sessions times count. We pay $45 for all day, normally that's 8 or 10 runs total. This last Saturday we got an additional 30 minutes of fun runs. I was beat and only did two extra runs but Mark got in 4 runs more and was thrilled to have 12 runs for the day. Of course during the fun runs no one is working the course and the cones get mauled. Still the timer is running and you get seat time. There are free instructors and everyone is super friendly. I really like the atmosphere at the NCC autocross, it's a super nice group of people.
  7. Did she wave? :itsme:
  8. The results are up http://forum.nccbmwcca.org/downloads.php?do=file&id=102&act=down
  9. Did anyone make it?
  10. I used AAA and not only did they do a great job, but it came with a 1 year guarantee that if it was chipped or cracked again I could replace it for $80. I wanted to do OEM glass, the dealer wanted $1200 AAA would have done OEM, but then they don't give the warranty
  11. Thanks Sherm! It was great seeing you guys. You and Miss Peal were looking pretty speedy yourselves. It was such a fun day, esp when we got the fun runs at the end. Was the 3 wheel drift when I was driving Max? I still have to learn to get more aggressive, I can do it!!!!
  12. I have what ever Way installed at the Dragon, he probably has them on his site. It's been nice, love my 15% pulley!! It's a lot of bang for the buck
  13. But it was dull not shiny
  14. I can't picture Scoopy any other way, her chrome suits her perfectly
  15. Real chrome doesn't seem like such a bright idea for the whole car oooh I'm so punny
  16. They say no insurance company will insure it, because it would scratch too easily.
  17. ugh, that's a lotta chrome. Did you see the note that too much chrome is actually illegal in many states?
  18. He had the stock chrome ones
  19. I asked Mark, he said he'll trade. He might like these better then the ones he has. The ones with the red vinyl are a little too flashy for him.
  20. I'll ask Mark if he still has his stock ones
  21. If you go the professional route check with Seatco in Falls Church, they do very good work at reasonable prices. They handled replacing my convertible top on the Celica and were great and much cheaper then the other quote I got.
  22. My knee is doing great!!! I am so ready to autocross. Tigger is talking about it every day. He says "Today? Do we autocross today?" and I tell him "Not yet Tigger." We can't wait :motor:
  23. Next year I plan to pay for the whole autocross season upfront so I can have one number. I'll order a set for the season :top:
  24. I'm so sorry, that totally sucks. Poor Tron :banghead: The best place that I know is WagonWorks in Crystal City, but that's probably really far for you. I'm sure someone knows a place out your way.
  25. I'm glad to hear you're open to working with us Gen one's Tigger has a mod list, I just need to save up for the next one
