  1. Hey Tigger is an R52, we can talk Mods He has the 15% reduction pulley DDM Works Cold Air Intake Magnaflow Exhaust (we don't have a lot of choices on exhausts because of the bracing) After getting all of the above done I got a tune from Way at the Dragon. I have the top commander, it's a little buggy but works for the most part. Don't believe the 15 minute install, that thing was so bad to install I had to pay Way to do it at the Dragon. I also put on Rota rims which are lighter Another of my favorite mods was wrapping the roll bars in Dark Silver, which I like way better then the chrome. I also upgraded the rotors and the brakes because Craig advised that if you're going to add power you need to also have better brakes. and I have a 19mm hollow sway bar. I think that's pretty much all of them. I am happy with each and every mod and it's taken me over 3 years to install them all. I do a little bit each year.
  2. No stink bugs in Tigger, they just blow out Ah yes ASSPORT, we were like children weren't we?
  3. They also had the people making really good chocolate!!! Dark chocolate covered popcorn YUMMY!!! We have to stop there again on the way back :top:
  4. I wish I saw you and Rocco. I had dinner with Mom and my aunt at Chicken Out after work. You must have seen me around 6:00ish :wavey:
  5. Every day as I drive out of DC on 14th street I see cars being towed that are parked near the Mall. Today I saw a cute little Hot Chocolate S parked in the tow zone. I hope he was saved before the towing. Hope it was no one here...
  6. You can check with OxSpeed, they're in MD and one of our vendors. They specialize in MINIs and they can do a tune
  7. I should add The run was really fun too, great roads and an awesome pumpkin patch :top:
  8. The sales guy actually asked if he was on candid camera. Then after Mark test drove Max he said "Well, now I don't need that trip to Great Adventures"
  9. This is the run that will forever remind me of when we bought Max. For those that don't know, on the first Pumpkin run we ended up about 1/4 mile from Carmax in Sterling where Mark had an appointment to test drive a MINI. You should have seen the sales guy when 7 of us showed up to see the car. Can't wait for the run :top:
  10. I moved your thread out of events and into Maintenance & Modifications since it's not an event. That's a mod I've thought about but I don't really understand it
  11. Great Shots Nick
  12. I like #4
  13. That was fun, even with the rain. Great meeting all the new people and seeing old friends
  14. It can't hurt to bring it along
  15. You made his night :top:
  16. That's pretty creative :top:
  17. Sounds like someone can get together for lunch :top:
  18. He's looking mean!!!
  19. Thanks for that Nick And on a lighter note I hear there will be dozens of MINI Coopers gathering at Mason District park. What a site that will be. I sure love those little cars.
  20. Current weather for Sat is looking great 85, sunny and partly cloudy. 20% chance of rain
  21. That's pretty much what Mark was describing. He really loves the steering on Tigger. I think he liked having a chance to drive both cars on the course.
  22. I did enter Tigger as a Hot Orange but somewhere along the way he just became HOT. It's not my fault that people can see him for his true color During the Fun Runs Mark and I switched cars. I did worse in Max then I did in Tigger. Part of it was probably because I was really tired by then and I had to adjust to the car. His handles so differently then mine. Mark of course was faster in Tigger then I was, but didn't get below 50 seconds. I think if he had a few more tries he could have gotten Tigger near the times that Max had.
  23. Don't worry, passion, fun and enjoyment of motoring isn't dead. It's right here :motor::motor::motor:
  24. You learn how to read the cones. The first time it was very confusing, but now they actually make sense. there are different configurations of cones that mean different things, it's fairly intuitive. A cone laying down is a pointer cone, it points in the direction that you should be passing the cone. If you see a square of cones that's a box, you drive through the middle If you see a line of cones treat it like a wall It's not hard
  25. You would think they would all want to join. I have experienced two people that ran away from me like I was trying to sell them something. It was weird. Not everyone wants to be one with us :hmmmm::dontknow:
