  1. CGI But yeah if it's real I was thinking that it's across from Deals gap
  2. I thought maybe across from Deals Gap where the old tail is. It kind of has a CGO quality to it, I keep wondering if he photshopped it in
  3. If you go and I'm free that day I would have fun taking pictures
  4. Is that across from Deals Gap? Did they replace the old green tail? I'm glad I got a picture with Tigger and the old tail. This new one is mean!!
  5. I use my phone if I have to watch a video from work
  6. It's a DIRT road
  7. Actually the rain may help, it always seems to make the dirt worse
  8. Is this a hint? Will STKRS2 be glowing:questionmark::questionmark::questionmark:
  9. I wish I had that kind of understanding here Ali's body = :pcguru: Ali's spirit = :motor:
  10. did you manage to stay on course?
  11. You're welcome to come by. I have a random orbital buffer and plenty of supplies
  12. You've found new friends for sure. I'm glad you had fun. Bring your partner out with you for the next run. I think I chatted with you about the convertible top care. You really want to baby it so it lasts
  13. Hmmmm If I didn't have the bad knee/ hip I'd be happy to work on her and anyone else that stopped by. Of course she's welcome to come hang out with Tigger.
  14. If anyone is off on Friday, I'll be detailing Tigger. Feel free to come by and detail your MINI too
  15. Tyler You can borrow my 5D classic but I don't have a spare tripod. Bring a tripod and you can get some fun night shots too. Craig and I will be out there I'm sure. We're also going to shoot some star trails :captain:
  16. Tigger has so many squeaks and rattles (mostly from the top) that I don't know if I would notice a new one
  17. Great video Kind of scary seeing all the vehicles that straighten out that second part of the turn and cross over the double yellow. These are nice little videos, I subscribed
  18. Rattles? You need to reserve time for giving fun rides in the Lotus. If we weren't bailing from the run early yesterday Mark would have lept out of Tigger and jumped in with you for a segment of the run.
  19. I have Friday off too, so my vacation begins then, but we arrive in Fontana on Monday :elephant: Happy happy joy joy
  20. In case people didn't read this on Barry's last email, it's imperative that everyone understand this, for your good and the good of others on the road. Barry said it perfectly, I'm just pasting it in from the newsletter. Safety: Once again we have a very large number of MINI attending the MOTD. As the event gets bigger, the roads get more crowded and the chance for accidents increase. There will be alot of folks that are driving these mountain roads for the first time. We need to make sure as a MINI community we are on our best behavior. We will be sharing these roads with locals that are going to work, the stores or bringing their kids to school. For those not familiar with driving the Dragon or mountain roads in general, PLEASE attend one of MINIBee's safety classes. Either Wednesday from 12-2pm or Thursday from 8-10 am. There are some great tips on our Driving the Dragon page along with a great video that MINIBee made a few years back. We are all there to have a good time, but not at the expense of risking someone's safety. Let's remember a few basic rules: Don't Cross the Yellow Line Watch Your Speed Drive Within Your Limits Don't Push others to Drive Beyond their Comfort Zone. Seems like every year there are a few of us that make the rest of the group look bad. Then those folks are photographed and ridiculed on the forums. Let's eliminate that this year. If someone is riding your tail, stay in your comfort zone and pull over at your first chance, if someone is going too slow ahead of you, be patient and don't push them to go faster than they feel comfortable. And always remember, Enjoy the Ride and Stay on Your Side.
  21. I love being able to say We leave on Sunday
  22. What an amazing day. While Haemish didn't deliver on a nice warm morning the day was amazing and the roads were awesome. We didn't have too many issues with slow vehicles and I think everyone was having a great time. I also really enjoyed my special dairy free, gluten free pizza at the restaurant :top: Thanks Haemish, another great run. I hope things went well at the Fire station, sorry we had to bail early. But we did try to do a last good deed and mark that tricky right turn off of 7 for everyone
  23. NICE MINI!
