Rich, They have the earlier sensors (07-09).

What size (profile) tire did Mark go with? When I was running 35's, it was awful but getting back to 40 and 45's, it made it wayyyyy better. The tire can make a good bit of difference but I suspect there's something else involved - maybe the dampening needs to be adjusted.

Take a look at the KW's as well. I autocross about once a year but instead of springs and struts, I went with CO's this time. I got a set of KW V1's so I can set the ride height where I want (not a fast process but also, not too awfully difficult either) and it made a massive change in the ride. The last time I swapped out a suspension, it was about 4 hours work and it's easy to do the sway bar at the same time since you have to drop the rear struts anyway. I'm running the KW V1's with a H Sport 25.5mm rear swaybar and OEM endlinks. Up front, it's the OEM swaybar and Way Motorworks adjustable endlinks. My wife has actually slept in the car on the highway and during some slower paced driving in the twisties. With the polyurethane bushings, there's no "break in" time, you get what they offer right way and it's not gonna change. These also have zirc fittings so you can lubricate them. Ali (TGGRRR) can attest to the handling as she made a "test run" with me last fall and up to 145, it was an awesome ride and the car never felt like it was getting "floaty".

I have a tow hook mount to loan. -
Sorry Cory. I think Mark has the yellows with NM springs and I ran the HD's with NM springs as well. It was a good drop for me.
-
Katelyn, I think Mark Drew has the Koni Yellows so he would be a good source but he also has aftermarket springs so that would change things a bit. I had a set of Bilstein HD's on my previous MINI an they really changed the "attitude" of the car. It was a comfortable ride but it still handled very nicely.

I hate you so bad.... Okay, not really but you just had to go there didn't you. :top:

Due to financial issues, the potential buyer for this deal had to back out. If you are starting to think about the imminent arrival of winter weather, here's a solution that will give you "leg up" for driving your MINI through the winter season - and still look good going it! I can send photo's if needed.

John, It looks like it will work with the original HERO HD or HERO HD2 but I didn't see a mention of the non HD version on the website. -
Okay, I'm at the point that I just want to get this out of the way so I don't have so many odds & ends - the cases for the HERO2 and HERO3 look alike but they don't work together and I'm tired of having to guess which is which. 1 - GoPro Hero 2 HD camera w/ 32GB SD card. 1 - WiFi Backpac with WiFi remote. This will also work with the GoPro app on both iOS and Android devices. 1 - HD Hero 3D kit (case and connector to use two Hero HD camera's for shooting 3D video). I have a couple of different weatherproof and open cases so you'll never be in a situation in which you don't have the correct case. These will be included in the price above. The only thing NOT included is a suction cup mount. All of the above is now reduced to $100 and you'll get a dozen or more various housings and back panel doors to go along with it. You aren't going to find a deal like this anywhere else.

Reach out to CARMAN - Jim Carman. His wife has a hitch on her Cabrio but I don't recall which they have. Pretty sure they had it installed at the Dragon.

Good question. Lona (Smoke789) can't get to DCMM from work but she'll see this when she gets home.

More info on everything will be posted here as we get closer to the actual event. The team of people coordinating all of this are working with the charity, the locations, vendors and all sorts of stuff to ensure we have a great event that is safe and fun. I can say that the team is working with a potential vendor for clings and there is a rumor based on reliable and credible sources that there will also be stickers. Several vendors have also agreed to contribute "stuff" that will be a part of the raffle prizes.

So far, we have four members who have expressed interest in joining the board so far. If anyone else is interested, you DO NOT have to be present to be considered or to win. If you are unable to make it to the annual meeting but you'd like to have your name on the ballot, please contact Haemish a.k.a. Edge or me to be added. Candidates will have a couple of minutes to introduce themselves if they are present and, if they aren't there, we can/will read a written statement on their behalf. Members who have expressed interest so far; Catalina a.k.a. LolaMINI Hilary a.k.a. CHILLIN Sara a.k.a. omgMINI Nick a.k.a. nharrison21

Yep, we'll have T-shirts this year. There should be something posted in the near future about them. Once again, our favorite MINI artist has done a great job with a design and I think folks will really like them.

I think they'd be great on a rally car, simply because of the incredible amount of abuse they take. With regards to "real" or "fake", it would be important if the "fake" or "knock off" were made to a lower quality standard... It's not like a fake Gucci handbag, there's more at risk. Good luck with it Tyler. Just remember, once you are married, you aren't going to be running Sara's life - or yours either for that matter. ***Off topic alert*** Most important words you'll ever learn for a happy relationship - with your wife: You're right! Yes Dear and, of course there's - "No honey, that/those ******* look wonderful on you! And finally - "It's not about the nail"

I'm kind curious how you'd get that kind of stuff in the cabin air filter. How long was it sitting? I sure hope you didn't have some kind of vermin building a nest. If you can't get it out with the smaller vacuum, it might be worth getting an industrial strength shop vac to see if you can pull any other chunks back out. Never had this problem with the MINI but my jeep did this a couple of times and I finally just removed the entire fan, heater core and all. Heck, it never had a top on it so it's not like it was ever going to do very much for me anyway...

I passed Merlin's exact opposite on the way home today. "Justa" Clubman, with black roof/mirror caps and red body.

Sounds like Tigger has leprosy or something...

Get better soon Bert!

Nope, haven't seen that one before.

We have enough pressure treated lumber to make a "high chair" for you if needed Chris. Just let us know what you need.

Welcome! Glad we were able to help you out with everything.

We've done at least one run to that winery in the last 6-8 months - lots of fun! Keep us posted for the arrival and we look forward to motoring with you!
