Bummer ... was gettin' all excited about going there, since I work in Herndon. I've been using a DIY wash on Branch Ave (Sam's) over the years, which is pretty good, but am looking 4 one w/the colorful foam that Lola got! :embarassed:

On my way home yesterday, I see a woman driving a silver MINI cabrio. So, I wave once; didn't get a response (or, I missed it, which is entirely possible). We're on Centreville Road, I pass and honk my horn and wave again. When we get to a light, she pulls up beside me and yells, 'Hey! Are u VioletDC'? I yell back, 'Yes!!! Hi!'. She yells back, Hey! I'm MINIBee!!! All these years, and we finally meet!' We're justa grinnin' at each other, chatting back & 4th 'til the light changed and motored our respective ways. It was truly awesome 2 meet some1 you've known only online!. :top:

Interesting ... I saw that option in iTunes and hadn't heard of it, let alone used it, b4. Will my HK CD player be able 2 play/read it? I don't use an iPod at all.

I burn my CDs in MP3 4mat, but it still doesn't work 4 me. Not planning 2 replace my HK system, tho, so I'll just motor on and try 2 remember 2 put the playlist on the labels I create. At least I'll know what I'm gonna listen 2 b4 slipping the CD in the player. :embarassed:

I burn a lot of CDs for motoring, and find the lack of CD info maddening, as well. I use my Mac (iTunes) 2 burn them and have the 'include CD data' (or whatever it's called) option checked, but 2 no avail. Scoopie is an R53 w/the HK system, so I guess I don't have that capability in any case.

So, I stop by Popeye's 4 lunch, and notice a Senate Insurance-branded 1st Gen MINI. Of course, I got a DCMM card 4 branding & notice a tall, dark, handsome guy checkin' Scoopie out, but head on over 2 tag the MINI. 2 my surprise, TD&H guy heads 4 the same MINI! I introduce myself & hand him the card, along w/a 10-second brief about the club & that he should check us out online. He seemed interested & a little excited that there's a local MINI club; his name's Reggie & I hope he visits soon!

Scoopie is sporting them, 2 ... so far, so good!

I've noticed more MINIs, as well, but have yet 2 spot a Coupe' live & in person. Since I've been working more, there are a coupla things I need 2 do 2 get Scoopie ready 4 the trip: new eyes (found a shop that'll install her 'smoky eyes' 4 me nearby that won't cost me an arm, leg, & Babygirl #1); oil change; and overall checkup. Lookin' 4ward 2 the trip, tho.
