Pre-Picnic Run

Recommended Posts

Details:

Start:

Harris Teeter

25401 Eastern Marketplace Plaza

Chantilly VA

10:00 am -

10:30 am - wheels up

End:

Whites Ferry Pavilion

11:30 am

This is something new we have not tried prior to a picnic as far as I know. I'm coordinating a run before the picnic just for fun so we can "arrive together". This run is an hour long and will start at the Harris Teeter in Chantilly. The idea is to allow people time to get last minute items for the picnic, if needed, at Harris Teeter and then head to the picnic.

We will leave at 10:30 with an approximate arrival time of 11:30. This will not be a fast or spirited run considering people will have items for the picnic in their vehicles.

My apologies being a bit last minute on this run...but for those of you who would like to make it out for the pre-picnic run, please RSVP so I know how many to expect in the morning.

Actually Alex, this is a semi-tradition. I know we had pre-picnic runs in 2010 & 2013... and I think there was an informal one in 2011 as well.

Still, glad you're doing it - that's awesome! :top:

Please make sure you bring your two-way radios. Considering the weather isn't cooperating at the moment, it's best to keep contact.
