Ive got a good run-flat for sale! I switched to standard tires and one of my old ones had 7mm of tread left so I kept it. Im looking for ~$60 or so. I also have the OEM side indicators and their bulbs for sale. No inserts in them! Ill get rid of them for $20. Just let me know if these pique your interest!

Its an all in one powered subwoofer. So the amp is built into the housing for it. I have Ground, Remote, and 12V constant to work with. The Rem doesnt put out quite enough power for a 12V Brushless PC fan. When checking it with my multimeter it has about 3V or so. Im picking up some smaller 3V fans and Im going to see if I can just hook them up to my REM and ground so they would turn on only when my car is on. My mini is gen 3 too, not sure how different it is.

The day before yesterday I tried to install a custom fan system for my subwoofer (it overheats if I am out for a while jamming) and blew a fuse. Yesterday I finally identified the fuse near the battery and replaced it myself. Boy that was a learning experience for me! Now im going to tackle a way to have a fan turn on when my sub turns on so I can keep it way cool.

So just a quick update. I ended up getting the exhaust listed as "Full DP" and had it installed. I am in love with how it sounds, its surprising to me what difference a simple cat-back exhaust can make on this tiny engine. Ive tried getting some various videos for my friends but none of them can do it justice!

Wow I had NO idea it was this much. I think im going to get a tile for mine as well now. I have a spare but id really rather not have to bust it out now that i know its 500!!

Even if you haven't ever had the lights? Mine doesnt have the entertainment package but my research into retrofitting hasnt given me much info on it.

How hard was it to install the puddle lights? Ive been wanting them on mine for a while. Im totally down to pop open my door and try it myself too!

Is anyone looking to sell, or happen to have a spare S spoiler they'd be willing to part with? Im looking to upgrade my base model with one, its so much better looking!

Im enjoying this thread in particular. Ive been into home audio systems for a while but have been afraid to bust my car open and get in there. My girlfriend has let me toy with her old 2002 Neon and I definitely want to be getting new Mids sometime soon. Even if mine is an F56 this is super helpful for me!

Today I got in my smoked black side indicators and replaced them! These ones are LED and animated, im very happy with how they look.

I tend to agree. I've about had it with the cost of run-flats as well. I really think next time im just going to pick up a regular tire and keep fix-a-flat in my car. I know better than to let fix-a-flat sit for too long but a new tire is still cheaper than a new run-flat.

In my experiences run flats are considered compromised once you've had to use them without tire pressure (or the appropriate pressure). Im sure someone could speak much more on it than myself as im not that experienced with run-flats so take this with a grain of salt. I definitely feel that pain, ive gone through a handful of tires early in their life and its painful that I have to drop the cash for another when i barely used my current one. If you had that kind of wear i'd opt to get it replaced entirely myself but I like to play it safe. Hopefully you'll have a good outcome regardless!

So I finally got my Hella 500s on and I could not be any happier! I got the work done at GT Peace Auto in Chantilly and they were fantastic. Thanks to everyone who helped me make my decisions on it all!

I found their listings on ebay as well which seem to explain more? the SC and SCMD both are cat-back exhausts and require some cutting but otherwise "slip over the factory front section" while the DP looks almost like its just a straight pipe? (Again im super new to most this stuff) If anyone would like to take a look and let me know ill leave links for all three systems! Here's the link! https://www.vipcustomparts.com/F56 parts page.htm So it's the NON S exhaust I'm looking at. From what I can tell it's a cat back or second cat. And the SCMD is the same but muffler delete. I'm bringing myself up to speed as fast as I can so I'm not so clueless

So im back with yet another question about parts! So I really dont know much about car parts in any form or fashion and usually just rely on my buddies to help me out. Im looking at getting the VPN 909 exhaust from VIPCustoms (and maybe their downpipe as well) My questions are what the SC/SCMD and Full DP mean and what I should be getting. Emissions wise my inspection is good for 2 years and Im moving to a state that doesn't require it. But im basically at a total loss on what I should be getting. Im really only looking for a minor performance increase for a bit of a cheaper price (i know exhaust is pretty easy to install so its a bit less) but when it comes to the terms im in the dark. What do you guys have or recommend? Im also not set on this particular exhaust but I especially like it because the tip can come powder coated black and match the rest of my de-chromed look!

Ive decided on the smoke lense hella 5.3 inch. I think i want to get the quad light bar as well even though im only starting with two lights. This leaves some room for additional if I decide later! I originally hit up PMoA and asking them for an estimate on OEM lights (quoted at ~1200 total and they dont do the DCMM discount anymore) and the reviews for the hella convinced me to go with that instead. My buddy mentioned an idea I kind of like, but want some input on from ya'll if youd like. He said to have two driving lights on the outer edges of the bar and get two of the 3 inch LED daytime running lights for the inside. I might mess with photoshop to actually get an idea of how it would look. Thoughts?

So the new slim subwoofer came in today and im blown away by it. It puts the old tube one to shame and its only 30 bucks more! More importantly I was able to reclaim a decent amount of space, or at least work around it much easier. For being a simple powered sub this is a fantastic buy

That sounds great! I had wanted to replace my factory midranges with something more durable for a while now. I was actually pretty happy with the overall quality and bass of the stock system but with my choice of music extra bass was required. Thats when i started trying to do research on what the new (okay not SUPER new) head units put out. So I could make sure I was getting speakers that werent too demanding. In the end I gave up on that for now and settled just for more bass. If i blow these out i know replacement OEM midranges are cheap and easy to replace.

Hey again! As I finish dechroming and get ready for my rally lights I wanted to see what you all have done with the entertainment? Currently I run a 500W 10" Tube subwoofer in the back. Bass on a budget as I call it since it was an $80 powered subwoofer with $200 for fantastic wire installation. Sometime this week I get a new 1200W slim vented sub ill be replacing so I can reclaim a little bit of extra space in the back. If you are like me and want some great kick for a REALLY cheap price look into the Rockville powered subs! I'll post a before and after photo of each sub and the difference in space they take up once i get it!
