I'm still planning on parking in the Target garage if there's space to fit us all in. It's a Merrifield Happy Hour custom now.

I'll let Nick decide that...but if we are all trying to park together, I would think one of the garages is a safe bet. I don't think it's that far of a walk.

Dima, I believe I talked to someone recently about lower control arm bushings...and although I see the "tool" you are referring to, I'm pretty sure 90% of the shops out there will drop the subframe to replace those bushings.

See official vendor list using following link. This assumes you are a full DCMM member and can view this forum. http://dcmetrominis.org/forum/topic/1800-official-vendors/ Scandinavian Import - Rockville, MD I'm sure there are other small shops that others can chime in and recommend. These two are two of the larger, non-dealer shops who definitely know what they are doing when it comes to MINIs.

I am very happy to report that our own insider, Celia (indicooper) informed me that BMW did in fact extend the warranty on HPFPs for certain years up to 120K miles. I figure I'd report this in case anyone else has this issue currently. It's nothing like expecting to have to shell out more than a grand and then getting the good news that it's covered.:party: -
