Last time we did the run, we met at Samuels Public Library. Just a half mile from the entrance to Skyline Drive I believe. Just another option. But, the above sounds more fun haha. Edit: Never mind...I see what your angle is. Donuts and coffee are always good.

Yeah, the original thought was to do this around Halloween...but I think this is short notice and people already have Halloween plans.

Probably won't make it out to cars and coffee given it's early start and I'm up in Montgomery Co...but I'm definitely up for Karting. Just need some details, time, etc.

PMoA quoted me 500 per headlamp and between 260 - 390 in labor. At least I have the part numbers. I can see if I can get those headlamps any less than that.

Thanks for the responses. I realize HIDs are the quick and cheap answer but I think I'll go the way of the genuine MINI upgrade if it is truly only $800 (I realize this doesn't include labor). I'll browse eBay also to see what I can find.

So, I've put 10K on the little beast since March. Love, love, love it...but I'm getting to the point where I'd really like to switch out the stock halogens for Xenons. Does anyone have an idea as to the best way of going about this? Obviously I don't want to void the warranty but the cost of OEM units are possibly prohibitive. I may not have a choice but to keep the units I have...but if you don't ask you don't get, right? Anyone have any ideas? :idea:

There's a chili red R56 with black stripes I've seen twice here in Germantown. Today he came flying up from behind me on Middlebrook Rd. I honked as I moved up along side him before turning onto 355 and he waved though his passenger didn't look amused haha. He yelled to me, "that was fun!" Met a gentleman tonight at Sam's on Rockville Pike with a black F56 with a custom exhaust. Thing sounds righteous. If you make it onto the forums...welcome and enjoy!
