If we can make it, it will definately be on the earlier side.
-
Haha - "Clydesdale class" - that's funny!
Tyler - I just paid.
Got it, thanks!
-
So how fat guy friendly are the carts?
Well that depends, skinny guys will definitely have less of a weight penalty, but there is lots of room in the Kart.
-
Actually, I'll have to wait until early next week to paypal the money, but it's coming...
Sounds good!
Duane just paid, so that's 1 more on our list.

Hey everyone, it's that time of the year again!
DCMM Karting Day III!!!
What: Indoor Karting event at AllsportsGP
Where: Allsports Grand Prix 45915 Maries Rd #170 Dulles, Virginia 20166
When: Sunday February 22nd, 2015 @ TBD
Who: MINI enthusiasts and their friends
Here are our current choices, the race we do will depend on how many people show up. The deadline for payment will be February 18th! All payments will need to be sent via paypal to Tyler.Pepin@gmail.com If I have not received payment by then you will not be on the roster, but feel free to attend the event as a spectator. Just like the previous two events we will probably grab some food after the event. Since we have chosen the Sprint racing option for the past two years I will start with that price, if we end up doing a cheaper race I will refund everyone as needed. So the price as of now is $85.00 to tyler.pepin@gmail.com via paypal.
Here are our current choices, the race we run will depend on the amount of PAID sign ups we get and votes.
Micro Grand Prix
Suitable for 6 to 11 drivers – $50-$60 per person
Option #1 – 10-lap Qualify, 25-lap Main race
Option #2 – 10-lap Qualify, 35-lap Main race
The Micro Grand Prix format is a shorter, modified version of our popular Mini Grand Prix! Jump right into the racing action! It takes 30-40 minutes to complete.
Mini Grand Prix
Suitable for 8 to 11 drivers – $90 per person
25-lap Qualify, 40-lap Main race
The Mini Grand Prix is our most popular format, accommodating the entire driving field at the same time. (That’s right, race with up to 11 people on the track at the same time!) It takes around 1 hour to complete.
In addition you get a personalized Safety Briefing which includes race driving tips and techniques as well as Podium ceremony and trophies to the first three finishers.
Sprint Heat Racing
Suitable for 12 to 20 drivers – $85 per person
5 races for each driver, 10-lap races
Sprint Heat Racing is a highly competitive format that pits drivers against each other in multiple short racers, giving a variety of different starting positions to drivers, and awarding points to top finishing positions. This format is fast and furious, and allows for some great surprises! This format takes 1.5 hours to complete.
Again, personalized Safety Briefing which includes race driving tips and techniques as well as Podium ceremony and trophies to the first three finishers.
Team Racing
Suitable for 16 to 100 drivers – $95 per person
5 min. warm-up, 120-lap Main race
Team Racing is the ultimate team-building and corporate event! It can accommodate large quantities of drivers and relies heavily on teamwork to make it to the top! 120+ laps provide plenty of opportunity for changes to top teams – can you lead your team to the top of the podium? Call us and book your event today! Length of event varies with number of participants.
Hope to see you there! :motor:

Some our flight was flight and we're home till tonight I went and registered us
English translation?
-
Not registered. As of now, Sara and I will not be attending this year
-
Finished and installed the wheels--I definitely like the new look.
Looks good, I like the tires. How long do you think it will last?
-
OK, weather looks good, I will be taking Minnie and arrive around 7am, hang out for an hour or 2 and roll over to Sterling.
:frown:won't make it to coffee and cars. See you at sterling
Same here. It's too cold and I'm too tired, so I'm going back to bed. Not sure if we will make it to Sterling either.
-
So I believe Sara and I are camping! Her parents are thinking about coming this year and they have a huge tent a large amount of camping supplies. At $25 a night, that leaves a lot more money for gas! Last year I spent at least $300 in gas AT the dragon.
-
awesome, I didn't realize they were close to each other.
-
This just got extra interesting.....
Washington Lamborghini "We're locked and loaded for our 2nd DC Exotics show here at our dealership this coming Saturday at 9:00AM. See you here!
I saw that too! Too bad it's at 9:00am also.
-
You will be taking or you will be riding. Not going to make it to cars and coffee, would have to leave the house a 0530 and I am not that motivated this week.
Look forward to seeing you at the M&G though.
I understand, I will have to leave between 600-630 myself. Not sure if Sara is going or not, Duane might though, so at least I'll have one of my ladies.
-

-
I was in the back seat but it was a BMW 5 series. I'm driving into DC today for a meeting so I'll be on the look out
I'd recognize a BMW clown nose anywhere!
-
what time does it kick off or what time would you plan on getting there?
Not sure if attending just yet, but if I do it will be around 7am, which means we will have crappy parking, I may arrive at 630 to try and get better parking, it really just depends on the weather. I will confirm on Thursday.
-
I can't confirm just yet (weather/wife dependent) but would anyone be interested in attending katie's Cars & Coffee before hand and then drive over to Steerling? That's what we did for our first every Meet and Greet, it would make for a really early morning but you would maximize your car time!
-
Dear God....this is amazing news for everyone
FTFY:top:
-
YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!! The topic has been come up quite a few times in the house this past week. Sara and I are currently homeless (at the dragon) and are exploring our options.:motor:
-
I know Mark doesn't want to buy if enough people to I might go along. It's after the parade and I'm kind of worried is too much for one day, but if I can ride along with someone then that would work.
We may have a full car if Sara K. and Duane come along, but if not, we will have a seat.
