What specific model is it? The Optima Red Top that can be retrofitted to MINIs is the 34R. That's the one I have (the R stands for reverse polarity - the + and - are on the opposite sides of the usual).
Note: Above info only validated to be accurate for R53s!

EDIT: the model number says RED75/35, not sure it will work in any minis

I bought this Red Top a little less than a year ago. Never has been drained, 100% start up! Usually these go for $150 + I am looking for just $50. I'm just trying to offset the cost of a smaller battery for relocation. Here are the specs:

Tyler - another thanks for stepping up to the plate to organize this event. A wonderful time was had by all... that was the first time that I've done the Sprint Heat Racing format, and I really like it!

Tyler, thanks again for organizing this, it was so much fun from start to finish (the intro safety lesson was hilarious!) I can't wait for the pictures, though the couple of us that ended up in the Sin Bin won't be laughing at those. Regardless, I'd love to do it again!!No worries at all! Now that they have seen us with a big turn out, maybe we can work on the price a little bit with them. I woulld like to start a league, I know BMW use to have one with them, but I haven't heard much about it.
I would like to set it up almost like F1. We can run the winter months (the off season for actual racing), Maybe October - March, 1 or 2 events a month, either Micro Grand Prix or Mini Grand Prix format. So roughly 6-12 events (depending on pricing of course) at the end of each race your placing assigns a point value, add up the points accrued at the end of the season and determine a winner. :questionmark:

If they disconnected the airbag without disconnecting the battery first it can/will trigger the airbag light in BMWs. I believe you have to take it to the dealer to turn off (or have a scan tool).. I'm not sure if MINI is similar?

Yep, I'm a photog my theory on gear is if it works its never old. The continuos lights that we have are nice and we have a bunch. So I'll bring as many as I can carry out. Just have to figure a power source.
Does anyone have one of those power converters that plugs into the cig lighter?

OOOO I'm so burnt up. I don't think I will have Lady May by Kart Day now. Stupid Baltimore Ravens winning the Super Bowl. None of the dock workers showed up for work today so my ship can't unload my mini to the VDC. It's just sitting in the bay waiting to dock. I really wanted to show her off at Kart Day.
