  1. Just got home from P-Tuned. It's an impressive shop.

Mark and I got there early, then Tyler arrived. Mark left to get his hair cut so I hung out with Tyler while the Elise was aligned. Afterwards it took all of 2 seconds to convince Tyler to scratch 66 on the way home and go the long twisty route through Clifton.

We had a pretty good run on Compton, a few interruptions on Clifton road and at the end...... a Prius :banghead:

Still it was a fun run and Tigger was feeling really good. We feel Dragon ready!!!

Pretty much everything Ali said! Justin thanks for everything, car feels great right now. I'll really test it next weekend woot!

I told Justin to accidentally steal the Elise and place it in my driveway. He said no, he's no fun. Sorry Tyler, I guess you get to keep your car after all.

Haha, fair enough, when I was paying my bill I tried to tell the guy who rang me up that Justin said I could have a set of Advans or volks.....didn't work.

  2. but but but, just a few hours and then you'll be motivated to work.

AJ from autocross saw the Veryron in Bethesda yesterday, they're selling it for $1.8 million, he said it will be there

Sara and I are debating on whether to attend, it depends on how we feel in the morning.

  3. I've driven an Elise before. I can sum it up in two words: "Pure sex".

Unbelievable machine. Makes our wonderful-handling MINIs seem like pickup trucks. They stick like nobody's business.

Word to the wise for those going for a ride (although I'm sure Tyler will communicate this to them clearly)... getting in and out of an Elise is a challenge in itself. The proper way is to turn sideways, facing away from the car, and sit, then swivel your legs in to the car. Under no circumstances are you supposed to use the windshield to brace yourself for entry & exit, because you can very easily crack the windshield. The entire car is designed for light weight, not strength!

Yes, unlike most convertables the windshield frame is not structural. But I wouldn't say that it makes MINIs feel like a truck. I drive Sara's all the time and it's a blast. I can't wait to do a lap on the dragon with it!
