  2. I think I'll be able to join for the BBQ to Pastry part of the run.
  3. Based on a suggestion from a member, I went up a size to 215's. I got the Michelin Pilot Sports (from Costco). Really like them.
  4. Was told about $700ish to repaint the hood. Can't afford that Poor car is only worth $4k.
  5. Hmmm, do they give a credit for the old hood? :-) Know of a place that will repaint? Current hood is dent free, just a bunch of scratches.
  6. Horizon Blue?????? I could come up to MD this weekend
  7. Anyone know of an available bonnet/hood for a 2010 non-Type S R57? Horizon Blue if possible. Thx!!
  8. Yeah....that's exactly how I'm "torn".......only 33k miles....yet she's slightly over 8 years old.
  9. I'm interested. I have a 2010 with approx 33k miles. Is there a way to tell if I need this? Hate to waste the $$$ if I don't need to.
  10. Got a new full 4 burner BBQ grill in my 2010 R57.
  11. Ali, do you recall how much you paid for it at the dealer? Thx!
  12. I lost one of the keys to my 2010 R57. Do I HAVE to get a replacement from the dealer? Or are there 3rd party ways to do it? Thx!
  13. Does anyone have the knowledge/tools to replace the serpentine belt on a non-S R56/R57? Thanks!
  14. Here's a pic I took. Not sure if it will answer the "gasket vs cover" causing the issue question.
  15. Thanks for the info. What are the chances that the valve cover is cracked? It's a 2010, with 30,000 miles on it. When I did my google searches, that seemed to be the biggest cause of oil leakage, yet it seemed that all those mentions were Type S engines, which I don't have.
  16. Has anyone replaced the valve gasket on an R56/R57 non Type S engine?
  17. If you don't find any for sale, Costco is the only place to buy tires! :top:
  18. These are the stock rims, tires, and tpms off my 2010 Mini Convertible (non-S). Tires are Goodyear Excellence 195/55 R16 87H, and have 10,396 miles on them. They still have plenty of tread left. Rims are in perfect condition, no curb rash, scratches, etc. The TPMS is the 2010+ variety, so if you have a 2009 or older you'll need other sensors (however you should have no trouble reselling these sensors if you need to swap). These rims should fit everything but the Countryman. If I'm wrong, please let me know. If interested, please PM me and I'd be happy to provide additional pics if you'd like. These are $395/obo and are located in Northern VA. I'm willing to ship as long as the buyer picks up the tab.
  19. brain fart. That's what happens when you stare at tire/wheel ads for 2 straight hours :-)
