  1. Scoopie does that; Tigger should do it, 2. Whenever my wipers are going and I stop for a light/traffic, they slow down. Same occurs when in intermittent mode; even the rear wiper slows down in intermittent mode! Can't believe u hadn't noticed that on Tigger! Unless, there's a difference between the hardtop & cabrio ... ? I have never noticed Tigger do this.
  2. Tigger has an aftermarket radio, it doesn't do that. I'll have to test Max and see if he does that. Took me a while to realize the wipers were magical.
  3. I am driving Max this week while Tigger gets his makeover and Mark is away on business. I guess I have never driven him in the rain as it took me a while to figure out how to turn on the windshield washers. Then I noticed how magical they are, they slow down when I stop and they go faster when I go faster. What a great idea Can I mod Tigger to do that? I know, I know the answer is no It is a cool feature, made me all happy Look they're going fast, ooh now slow, ooh fast again... Amusing me during rush hour traffic
  4. Max got his clear bra today and looks great. We found a guy in Fairfax that did it quickly and used Invisalign. He also installs 3M but said there have been issues in the past with it going yellow on silver and white cars. He charged him $550 and it has a full warranty. Plus, he was just a really nice guy and easy to work with. We'd recommend him. Randy Coffey http://www.DetailAuthority.com 703-978-7800
  5. I'm glad you can make it out Jono!!! I do understand about the hip. My "good" knee is much more painful now then my surgery knee.

  7. Don't forget some cash if you want to buy raffle tickets!
  8. I have a box with flags from prior years that I'm bringing
  9. I am organizing so not doing the run. I'll bring some for people to borrow. Just look for the Hot Orange cabrio with writing all over it. and graffiti flames, I can be hard to miss I know. I will be parked at Passport because I'm transporting tables for registration.
  10. Ya never know :rofl::rofl: I crack me up
  11. Bert Don't forget the calls about road kill, wildlife sightings, cows, bikers and potholes. The occasional sound of total static leaving you wondering "Was that important?"
  12. I saw on the news that they are inundated with sweaters and coats and warm clothing. they were literally screaming for underwear. But again, that was just Staten Island on that story.
  13. I saw on the news that Staten Island really needs underwear, esp for kids
  14. Sounds like a perfect day
  15. I don't know what they're called but they're beige and gray and looked just like the ones in the picture of the guys car that he was selling for parts.
  16. :top: I love Seatco, that's where I'll go. They replaced the top on my Celica and they do good work
  17. You're right, he wrote back quickly, the seat is gone. I just need to get the stitching repaired
  18. Thank you for doing this Katy. Would sheets be OK too, or do they just need blankets? Ali
  19. I wrote him about the drivers seat as mine is torn, but I bet it's gone
  20. Since Mike was Army and we have leaders within the run representing the various forces, Greg Trnka has agreed to sweep. He's retired Army and is honored and happy to help. Geno is leading (Marines) middle leaders are Quitta (Navy) Sherm (Air Force) Sweeper is Greg (Army) I'm really looking forward to Sunday!
  21. What ever is easier for you. You can pay the club and we'll be making a big check, you can write a check out to the charity (which helps for the tax donation) or you can pay in cash, in which case we'll include that in the big check from the club. Ali
  22. 30 miles in this area would not guarantee you a 1 hour commute, especially if you live outside the beltway and are coming in. I live inside the beltway and drive to DC, I leave the house at 6:50 and still hit some traffic making my 11 mile commute in 30 - 40 minutes, if I leave the house later at say 7:15 it's 45 minutes min, and when I've had a dr appt and left at 9:00 it takes over an hour. Chris suggested Fairlington in Arlington, they are older townhouses, but usually fairly reasonable for Arlington, it's not near a metro. However, depending on which part of George Mason your office is, it may not be near a metro either. If you can get inside the beltway you'll be happier. I'm on the Annandale line and it's more affordable here then Arlington and still inside. Our traffic is bad on a normal day, if it rains things come to a standstill. So you want to get as close in as you can afford
  23. You can buy a pair and split them. They aren't expensive. I ordered a pair in orange (what else) I have to figure out how to turn them into a pendant, but I may stick one on Tigger after he's repainted
  24. I Know!!! Alta is well regarded for their chrome, but before buying the paint wrap, we should research more. And the stuff isn't cheap
