1. A bit out of his price range, but he's duly impressed. I'll see if I can't reason with him Good luck with the sale!
2. Might have an interested buyer. Not sure if it's in his price range but I've passed along the details.
3. Pepper White / Black F56S with a DCMM cling, in Chantilly. I was behind you in a BRG F56S. Good morning!
4. I was invited to an event at MoS, so I'll be attending that one.
5. These are really cool! If you want to give an F56 a go, let me know As mentioned, the bulk of what you see is from Craig (Coop, Cooperation are his more-known usernames). He works with a lot of MINI clubs across the US. Look for 'Planet Cooper' on Facebook to see more examples of his work.
6. Thanks to both of you for the info :top:
7. So in the last 2 weeks or so, since the last washing, I've managed to curb a wheel. Does anyone have any experience with getting curb rash taken care of? And if so, who'd you use? Thanks!
8. I have 2 new-in-box Rockymounts Tie Rod bike racks, in silver. These are designed for European crossbars, such as the MINI. I bought them in 2012 or so, and never put them on the car. These have never been out of the box. I paid $300 for the pair, would like $100 for both. The racks are in a climate-controlled storage facility in Chantilly, so that's where we'd meet if you're interested. Thanks! :top:
9. I've cancelled my option, due to lack of interest. We can try again in the near future.
10.
I've decided to cancel the event, due to lack of interest. I may attempt to do this again in the near future, but will set up as an impromptu event.

12. I'm not familiar with Beech Spring. What's it near?
13. I went out again Friday, and the paving has been completed. However, they have to go back and stripe it. The Park Ranger at the gate said there's another project scheduled to start on Aug 31, but wasn't sure what that was. That might be the striping.
14. The road's open day and night except during deer season, I believe
15. You bet. I plan on doing some recon myself, to test out a few routes, check on the ongoing paving, etc. I have a few places in mind, but it'll take a few trips to check them out - and the Front Royal entrance to Skyline Drive is about an hour from my house.
16. If we go early enough, we could watch the sun rise
17. Sept 26 is a free day. It's also a Saturday, and will probably be packed. Ali might be referring to a 'Special Use Permit' that has a $200 non-refundable application fee. http://www.nps.gov/shen/planyourvisit/upload/10-930-event-or-general-app-2.pdf I have a lifetime pass good for free entry into all National Parks, so I'd be using that. :top:
18. Military members can get annual passes. Others may be eligible for discounts. http://www.nps.gov/findapark/passes.htm
19. FYI I was there yesterday, did the route from Front Royal to the Skyland Resort turnoff (highest point on Skyline Drive) then turned around and got off at the 211 gate. They're in the middle of repaving Skyline Drive, and there was a long (~2+ miles) stretch that was one lane only, with a 'follow me' truck leading the way. I can make a run over the week prior if you'd like, and see where they are with the paving process. ALSO - Prices went up at some point. It's now $20 per car instead of $15.
20. From a NAM user: I prefer Waze for the traffic/hazard/cop information but this may be worth trying.
21. While we haven't seen either movie, we're primarily interested in Pixels - but not interested in hanging around until past midnight. We're bowing out as well.
