We've got a bunch of wheels to clearance. First, there's a set of nearly-new 17x7" MINI OEM Crown Spoke wheels, only a few hundred miles of use. Clearance Crown Spokes -- click me! Next is a set of hard-to-find JCW wheels. They're in decent shape, although two have some curb rash and one has a minor bend on the back. The previous owner couldn't tell there was a bend there, and the bend doesn't extend to the bead seat, so it'll seal up and roll just fine. Used JCW wheels -- click me! Finally there's our very last set of Blitz BRW wheels. These are also 17x7, and have a unique design and color that you are not going to see often. They are new-in-the-box, not used. They ONLY fit 12mm bolts or studs, so if you have a 2006+ car with 14mm bolts, you'll need a stud conversion. These do NOT come with center caps. This month we're running a special on a one-hour full-car inspection! This is a popular choice for people looking at a new car, or who just bought a new car, and want us to go over it. We're not leaving the MINI marketplace, but my growing kid is having a hard time folding into the back of the R56, so it's time for the MINI to go. (The kid is saddest of all -- she had it in her head that she'd inherit it when she turned 16.) Anyway, it's a Dark Silver 2007 MINI Cooper S six-speed. It's fast and light -- I spec'ed it from the dealer without any of the heavy options (like the sunroof), but with HID lamps, the rare mechanical limited-slip differential, sport package, and the all-important cold weather package. It's got a multi-function steering wheel and cruise control. They accidentally gave me power folding mirrors, too. I just love this awesome crane they built for the Metro rail extension out to Tysons and Dulles Airport. So I risked life and limb (well, it felt like it anyway) to take a night-time photo of it by the side of the freeway. Today I have for you not ONE, but TWO 2010 Cooper S Convertibles with new wheels. Car #1 has Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2, flat black, 17x7", with 215/45R17 Kumho Ecsta ASX. 2009 Clubman S, with 17" flat black Rota RBs we just installed. I took a couple of snapshots before the car left. I think it looks great! Amazingly, even though the new wheels are 17's, they're two pounds LIGHTER than the factory 16's that were on the car. --Dan Mach V FastMINI.net
