The 2011 Mach V Mega Colossal Meet and Charity Car Show will happen on Saturday, July 30, 2011. This will be our sixth annual charity event, with proceeds going to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. Last year we raised more than $1000. (I admit, attendance was dampened last year by temperatures in the millions of degrees...) As in previous years, it'll be a car show, with prizes for Best Engine Bay, Best Exterior, and Best of Show, plus a bonus prize for Car We'd Most Like to Own Ourselves. If you don't have a Subaru, there will be classes for other cars, too. There'll be a voluntary $10 donation to attend. Registration for the car show will be $25 in advance, $45 the day of the show. First I've got a set of 16" R94 Bridge-spokes with Continental ContiProContact SSR run-flats, 195/55R16, in very good shape. No TPMS. Three of the tires look fairly new, one is maybe 1/2 worn. $400 for the set. Cheap! Finally, a PRISTINE set of 16" S-Winders and Bridgestone Turanza ER300 II 195/55R16 Run-flats. Less than 3000 miles on them -- they are nearly perfect. No TPMS. $500 for the set. (The tires alone are worth $600!) Come by the shop to see them. You need a 235/40R17, not a 235/45R17! The 45 profile is too wide and too tall. For pure summer (not below 40 F temps), I'd go with the Star Specs. Great tires. --Dan Mach V FastMINI.net

NM does make R56 coupe springs. They are different. If you put the Clubman springs on your coupe, it'll ride higher in the back. We do carry the coupe springs. They're not on special right now, though. NM does not make R53 springs. Sorry. For that we have H&R. --Dan Mach V FastMINI.net

Whoops, I'm ten days delinquent on my January 2011 special, so this one will extend through February. The new year's special is NM Engineering RS-a springs for MINI Clubman.
