Roy, I think alot of the problem we have is oil blowby on the supercharger (1st gens) or Turbocharger (2nd gens). Otherwise, the "Justa" is the same so there is probably some benefit in it. Pitbulls are very loving and affectionate animals if they are properly raised and treated right. They are also very protective of their "family". Merlin is gonna get his behind tightened up a bit with a new sway bar and I'm having the NM Torque arm insert installed. Anyone else get any prices for their work being done yet? I talked to Way a couple of days ago and he gave me the installation cost (very reasonable since I know what it takes to do both jobs) but he doesn't want to exchange money in front of the folks at Scandanavian...

My '77 CJ-7 could get about 9mpg on good days and that wasn't much fun since my daily commute was just short of 80 miles... Catalina, This is a photographic technique that I studied last semester. There are a couple of professional photographers who do this kind of work and it's really, really good work. The earlier artists had a little more serious content but the later works, like this are a little "edgy" and they can be really, really fun. If it's not raining too hard this afternoon, I'll see if I can fire a return volly.

Tim - if you keep us updated on your return, we'll make sure we schedule one for your "welcome back". We started the monthly dinner events almost a year ago and it's really been fun so we want to keep it going.

Alex, Welcome to you, Marlene and Caligula! Great to have you up here and we we all look forward to meeting you guys at an event. If you haven't had time to troll the forums, Passport MINI of Alexandria (PMoA) is having a costume contest this Saturday - for the cars and we always have a good time at that. Also, Saturday afternoon, Way of Way Motorworks is having a Modding party in Frederick, MD. Next month, DCMM will have it's third annual "MINI's Take the Beltway". We'll all meet up, take a spin around the Beltway and the donations/proceeds all go to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. We are also looking at a couple of other runs in the near future. Welcome to the region and we do look forward to having a new MINI family joining up with us!

Well, it must be time to start thinking about the 10th Anniversary of MINIs on the Dragon 'cause here we are, talking about events! This year, DCMM will be leading one of the drives at the Dragon and we'd like to reach out to the club membership that's going to Fontana for help. We (DCMM) will be leading a drive to visit Briday Veil Falls and Dry Falls and we are looking at doing this on Thursday (May 3rd) at 7 a.m. We'll head over to the parking lot for Dry Falls where the group will stage from and then, we'll have 5-6 cars make the short trip to Bridal Veil falls for a kodak moment. Those waiting can take the short walk down to Dry falls for another photo op. If anyone is willing to help with this, volunteers are greatly appreciated. Please RSVP if you are going to the Dragon and would like to lend a hand.

I second that! It really sucks to come out of the first turn, get some wheelspin and suddenly, the car is slowing down... It's kind of a sick "what did I break" feeling.... As far as "memory"? I think it's aimed at the 90% of car owners who wouldn't remember that it was off if/when they needed it and the lawyers would make it the fault of BMW/MINI.... I took the time to remove my AutoSport + before I traded Archi in and I'm going to install it in Merlin pretty soon.

That was soo cool! I wonder if they would get pissed if I put adhesive mounts on other helmets? I've got enough of them and it would be so cool to do that from the drivers perspective!

Dale, I know you didn't make it 'cause you just didn't want to meet Merlin just yet. It's okay! I really wish we (Lona and I) could make it for the fall colors run this year, it would be an anniversary celebration for us, just a week late but with the same awesome group that was at our surprise wedding (you don't hear those words together too often do you?) I hope you guys have a great event this year though and we'll thinking about you all the way from Key West!
