    Kewl! I just emailed them about paint/bra/detailing. They have a shop in Herndon, which would be gr8 if I could just drop Scoopie off one morning & pick her up after work! :top:

     

    Max got his clear bra today and looks great. We found a guy in Fairfax that did it quickly and used Invisalign. He also installs 3M but said there have been issues in the past with it going yellow on silver and white cars.

     

    He charged him $550 and it has a full warranty. Plus, he was just a really nice guy and easy to work with. We'd recommend him.

    Then I noticed how magical they are, they slow down when I stop and they go faster when I go faster. What a great idea

    Scoopie does that; Tigger should do it, 2. Whenever my wipers are going and I stop for a light/traffic, they slow down. Same occurs when in intermittent mode; even the rear wiper slows down in intermittent mode! Can't believe u hadn't noticed that on Tigger! Unless, there's a difference between the hardtop & cabrio ... ?

    U just may have somethin' there, Craig ... it could be the chrome! Woo-hoo! :biggrin:

     

    It's the chrome. Saw a Harley guy yesterday, his Tshirt had "It's all about the chrome" on the back. Hard to read at first, his pony tail was flopping all over and blocking the view...

     

    I'm gonna be the first blacked out Harley owner I guess.

    I dunno what the deal is lately, but while I was tooling around yesterday, I passed a NC Motorcycle club that had stopped 2 rest at a gas station. 1 of the guys looked up, saw me & Scoopie, & yelled out a hearty 'Heyyy, Baby!' along w/a big wave & smile, & the rest of the gang followed suit! Scoopie's been gettin' lots of love from the biker community, that's 4 sure! :biggrin:

    Thank u, Craig, 4 stickin' up 4 us chrome lovers. Granted, an ENTIRE chrome MINI is waaaayyy past my limit, but little touches here & there is just right in my book. :top:

     

    Coming from me, this will shock everyone by why all the hate at chrome? It's got it's place in the world! You'll notice I've never used the term "murdered out" and that kind of thing, I just choose to remove the chrom from my car but I can, and do appreciate and recognize the fact that done in moderation, chrome can work. I loved it when I opened the hood on my 72 Chevy Nova, 72 GMC Pick up, 63 Chevy Pick up and yes, even my 77 CJ-7 with their chrome valve covers, polished aluminum intakes and all kinds of "bling" under the hood.

     

    So be nice to the folks who like their chrome and let's just respect our differences. Besides, if everyone got rid of their chrome, we'd all look the same and then it would be "MEification" instead of "YOUification"...

    Mark saw Audrey and Scoopie on the beltway this morning. He caught up and tried to wave, but Audrey was intent on being a safe driver and didn't see him. He didn't honk and wave wildly. So here's the wave from Max to Scoopie :itsme:

    Had a 1derful commute in this am! 1st, I was spotted by a BRG R53 w/the tag HW MINI (could've sworn I've seen him b4!), and we smiled/waved and danced on 2 the Dulles toll road. Once there, we got behind a BRG Justa w/regular VA tags and danced w/her 4 awhile. We were a mini-MINI caravan 4 a little while, which was really cute! :biggrin: Eventually, HW MINI got off the highway, so it was me & the Justa left. Since HW & I had been rolling along at the high 60s/low 70s, Justa was a bit slow, so I passed her, honked & :wavey:. Needless 2 say, it was a gr8 start 4 Pre-Friday!
