I love the eyes under the bonnet of a first gen.
If you love Scoopie's whine now, you have to get the Cold Air Intake, then she'll scream.
Ahh, the CAI ... what do those cost? Will Mach V install it 4 me (they did my pulley)?

My 1st mod was the chrome scoop. A year or so later, I added the pulley (love that whiiiine!). Did a couple of interior things (CF dash & door rings), installed an armrest. Oh, yeah, and put on some purple 'eyes' under Scoopie's bonnet.
*edit*: Oh, yeah ... I forgot 2 add strut mount plates ... they're purple, 2!

That would be cool. My work schedule may change to Sunday, and I've been dying 2 go! As of 2day, they're saying the storms will hit this area Sat nite/ Sunday am ... xing fingers 'n tootsies that'll be the case ...

With Saturday and Sunday being the peak of the effects from Huricane Irene dumping on us, anyone hear about the date moving or it being cancelled?
That's what I was wondering ... even tho I have 2 work, I couldn't imagine making that drive in *more* torrential rain ... UNLIKE!!! :thumbsdown:

Thanks, Haemish ... I knew a little about the history (DCMM branch-off, etc.), but not that much about IB. Oh well ... I did join MA about a year ago, but haven't been on much. Nathan is really cool, tho, and I'll try 2 visit when I get more time.

P.S. Aside--I noticed Aesthetic Creations is no longer in the Vendor Directory at NAM, and in fact the # of vendors seem smaller than before. Anyone know what's going on? Poor economy?
Ewww ... that's not good; haven't been on NAM in quite awhile, so I have no idea what's happenin' ... would be good if some1 here knew ... :questionmark:

Scoopie & I had a gr8 time, as usual. It was 1derful seeing every1 and meeting new folks/MINIs (glad I got out of working 4 once!); highlight 4 me was watching all the other folks come cruising by 2 admire the MINIs ... priceless! :top:
Did some1 mention an August dinner? Can't w8 4 details!

Well, giving Scoopie a thorough bath is 1st on my list; she gets new eyes installed on Sunday, and I'll watch the fireworks in the comfort of the girlcave on Monday.
