  1. I'm pretty sure there is a playground, but I don't know how close it is to the picnic shelter. It wouldn't hurt to be prepared with some toys.
  2. Possibly, but only if I could find something like it online. I'm not a graphic artist by any means. I can't even draw on paper. I should add, if what you draw is exactly what you want, I can probably work with that. I have access to a pretty good scanner.
  3. Another thank you for putting this together. It was nice to just drive and forget about the rest of the world for awhile. :motor:
  4. The software I use is designed for the cutter I have, so it doesn't work with other ones.
  5. In one piece, 12" x 40", but if it's smaller pieces that will be put together, there's really no limit.
  6. It scans, but its not perfect, so depending on the design there can be quite a bit of cleanup.
  7. .jpg is the easiest. I can work with .ai or .psd, but PDFs are a challenge.
  8. I'm pretty sure I have a set.
  9. I've added color charts.
  10. Thanks!!
  11. If you have a design, you can email it to me, otherwise just give me a good description of what you want. I need to know how big, what color (I'll be putting up color charts today), etc. Once I have the design done, I'll show it to you, give you a quote on cost and turnaround time. If you want to buy it, you can pay via Paypal or if in person cash or credit card.
  12. I cannot make clings, only stickers.
  13. I think this happened to Katie's MINI. I know she either got it fixed or fixed it herself. Maybe PM her?

  16. A few of you know that I make vinyl stickers such as: I can do just about anything you'd like, as long as it's one color (if it's not complicated I can do two colors). Pricing: This will vary depending on the project, but if I were to sell the sticker above (which is about 3" in diameter) it would be $5. The price will vary based on how complicated the design is, the size and the vinyl. Autocross numbers are $10/set (8" tall - meets the guidelines and fits on the windows. Large door numbers $25/set. Colors: I have a ton of colors and can get just about anything. I have color samples if you want to match something exact. Below are the color charts for some of the vinyl. The scans aren't great and the colors may be different on your monitor. Glossy Vinyl Matte Vinyl (This is also suitable for use on walls, though I've heard it's not as easily removable as they claim.)
  17. HW MINI is Chris - he's a member. His MINI's name is Howie.
  18. RSVPs are open! :top:
  19. Please don't get discouraged. Like Ali, I'm always in the bottom. I'm ok with that because I'm having fun and I keep improving. Sure, it would be great to have that 2nd or 3rd spot, but I'm just not there yet. I will be, though. Someday.... :top:
  20. Welcome! I also have a 2007 and we do NOT have the auto up. I don't believe it's one of the things that can be coded, either. They made the change to the 2nd gens during the refresh to include it.
  21. If you're working the course and it starts raining, there's no place to hide, so be sure to take a rain jacket and/or umbrella. (Make sure you don't leave them with your stuff in the paddock and that your rain jacket doesn't leak. :embarassed:) Also, an extra pair of shoes and socks is helpful. It's not pleasant to have to drive with wet feet/shoes.
  22. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea. You do get a lunch break and there are quite a few places nearby, but not having to leave would be easier. When we had our school in March, they didn't have the bathrooms open, so we had to drive over to the gas station near the stadium. Hopefully you guys won't have to do that.
  23. They also check to make sure you've removed everything from your car. Literally, EVERYTHING, including floormats. I leave the rear floor mats and the boot liner, but everything else comes out. If you haven't already, getting a plastic bin to put everything in is a good idea. If it rains, you don't want your stuff getting wet. (I learned the hard way.)
  24. Plasti-dip stripes? That's really cool!! They look great. :top:
