  1. I think the Fiat club arranged that.
  2. I just ordered a few things.
  3. I've made a couple of changes: The starting point is now Caribou Coffee in Ashburn. (42385 Ryan Road Ashburn, VA 20148). I've removed the 15 car limit. If the group gets too big, I will have someone lead a second group. The run isn't very complicated. I will be checking the weather all week. If the weather looks to be better on Saturday, I will switch the run to Saturday. I'm not opposed to doing the run if the weather is bad, but I didn't think anyone would want to pick pumpkins if it's raining.
  4. What types of pd can you get at Home Depot/Lowes? Do most of you order it online?
  5. I'm on my way!

  7. You could get the exact same blue. Cricket's are British Racing Green. I just gave them the paint code.
  8. I painted mine last spring. I used G2 Caliper Paint. It's a kit that comes with everything you need. Mach V sells it for around $40. However, I ordered it directly from G2 because they offer custom colors. It's about $100 for the custom color kit. Here's a link to their site: http://www.g2usa.com/ It was pretty easy to do. You just need to make sure you get the brakes really, really clean. You may want to buy additional brake cleaner. I don't think plasti-dip would be a good idea for painting brakes.
  9. Carlos did Cricket's tint 3 years ago. I've had no issues and it still looks great. I have 50% all the way around.
  10. I have BRG vinyl and I've been wanting to do this to Cricket for awhile. Did you take the pieces off to wrap them?
  11. The information and sign ups for MOTD 11 (2013) will not be posted until after the first of the year. The drives do fill up quickly, but you can't sign up until registration opens, usually around mid-January.
  12. Looks great!!!
  13. I had a great time today! I enjoy the shorter runs- it easier to commit to something that's not 100+ miles sometimes. Thanks for putting it together!! Brian- I'm glad I was able to help out. I'm in for the photo, too!! Is anyone else sunburned? I really should know better, but it didn't even occur to me to put sunscreen on today. I think I was too excited about the drive.
  14. We checked the route today and everything looks good. It's not a crazy, super-twisty route, but it's still fun. I'll be posting the route in the next couple of days in case anyone wants to go out there without the group. We went to the winery and it was really nice. The wine was pretty good and the view was amazing. However, the road to get up to the winery is NOT in good shape. If your MINI is lowered, I would think twice about driving up there. I did ok with Cricket, but I was very careful.
  15. I don't have a cabrio, so I could be wrong, but wouldn't that require removing the roll bars?
  16. The limit is due to the run leader not wanting 60 cars. Which means there's flexibility. I just don't want to have to shut down RSVPs because it gets too big.
  17. I updated the details and opened the RSVPs. Two important notes: 1. This event will be cancelled if it's raining!! Please check here on the morning of the event. 2. It's limited to 15 cars.

  20. It's also important to note, that it was 7 people and 5 MINIs. The 5 MINIs pulling onto the lot really threw everyone. I'll see if I can find the pictures. :top:
