  1. I've updated the event information with the end point. The end point will be in Sterling, VA. The exact location will be one of the clues, so I'm not telling exactly where. There will be food and drinks that will appeal to most people. If don't want to participate in the scavenger hunt but would like to attend the food/drinks portion, please PM me and I will tell you the location. You will be sworn to secrecy, though!
  2. I hope everyone had fun!! Sorry for the slow motorcycles and tractors.
  3. A picnic is our best option. The on site restaurant isn't that good and I don't think it's open tomorrow.
  4. Which MINI should lead the run, Cricket or Sonja? I'm being indecisive.
  5. I'm surprised that someone who is so well known in the MINI community would do something like that, let alone post a video of it!
  6. I would probably order 2.
  7. RSVPs are open!
  8. Thanks!! I drive that route about twice a week, so you might see me again. I love McArthur when there aren't slow cars in front of me (almost never). I look forward to meeting you soon!
  9. Yikes!! That's crazy! The dealer shouldn't even be that much. I paid about $100 for a set of Hawk pads (2, not 4) and when I had to have my rotors replaced I think it was around $500. I had it done at Mach V and at Passport in Alexandria. They both charged around the same.

  12. My old roommate, Havi, is selling hers. She's Pepper19 on our forums. Her's is an '09 and she was asking 12,800, but if she's staying in the family it may be negotiable.
  13. I loved the chairs!
  14. I'm not this year, but I did last year and it was a great idea. I need my coffee! We're bringing a smaller set up this year, though.
  15. I've been watching it for about a week. Every day it seems like they're forecasting less rain and warmer temperatures. Yay!!!
  16. It was this guy... Leg Daddy Racing. They don't appear to be around anymore. I can't imagine why... :stupid:
  17. This is MINI Bee's (Jack) safety video. He also leads several newbie orientation sessions. The video is a great refresher for everyone!
  18. It's also important to watch out for the people who aren't driving well or paying attention. Celia was run off the road a couple of years ago by a local towing a trailer and last year I encountered an oncoming semi. Be careful, pay attention and have fun! :motor:
  19. I'll bring some kind of dessert.
  20. I drove the Cooper Automatic and I was really impressed. It had a lot more power than 1st or 2nd gen Cooper Automatics. I thought it handled really well, too! Although I was impressed with it, Cricket isn't going anywhere. :motor:
  21. It is! Those are her winters. She's back to her white ones now, though.
  22. Can we go now? :motor:
  23. We leave a week from Saturday!!!
