  7. I love your new MINI, that's a great color.
  8. We will be listing some upcoming events early next week, We try for a drive (Run) at least once a month. You will see them listed on the calendar here in the forum, and also posted on our facebook page. There will be an option to RSVP, we ask you do so we have a general idea how many people to will be attending. With current state guidance, we just ask everyone to be flexible. I will often do about an hour of driving, then a lunch stop, followed by another hour of driving, ending somewhere people can socialize. We look forward to seeing you at an event soon.
  9. Hi! I'm new to this, I was wondering whether there were any upcoming events and what the protocol is? I recently got my mini and have already been adding upgrades! I am looking forward to hearing recommendations etc from everyone!
  10. A sticker! something celebratory to sit on her boot
  11. Ok, my Mini and my 10 year anniversary is coming up (10/31). I wasn't paying attention and missed her birthday (Feb) and she rewarded me by completely erasing all programming from her footwell module. So, I don't want to disrespect her again. I thought of a full detail as a b-day gift (which she really needs) but that's the usual "goto" gift. Anyone have any suggestions? No real mods that I need done. Just trying to think of something nice. 10 years is a biggie Thx!
  12. Welcome! Please remember we drive on the RIGHT side of the road

  14. Looks Like the MINI FINI sport link is out of stock but now I know what I'm looking for. Thanks Team
  15. I bought a dashcam a year ago and still haven't installed it, I really need to
  16. Got my dash cam set up. I bought a Thinkware Q800 and hardwired it using their available OBD II adaptor. The video is amazing. Has night vision, parking mode to monitor the car while it is parked, lane departure warning, etc. Great camera. Easy set-up. See attached video. REC_2020_06_27_17_02_36_F.MP4
  17. Manufacturer original equipment: Four 17-inch MINI Cooper Tentacle Spoke Silver Wheels and Hankook Optimo H426B HRS 205/45R17 run flat tires that have been driven only 13,200 miles. 22. I actually decided to buy the Thinkware OBD II adaptor. It plugs directly into the port while still keeping a second port open for regular diagnostics and what not. Thanks for the response though.
  23. What is the required amp draw requiredfor ACC line, for constant wire straight from the battery with an inline fuse for the require Amp draw
  24. Has anyone hardwired a Dashcam to an F56? I just bought a Thinkware Q800 and have it plugged in, but would like to hardwire it so I can use motion detection while it is parked. Looks pretty simple to do, but I have no idea what fuses to connect to. Apparently, one wire goes to an ACC fuse, while the other goes to a constant power fuse. Does anyone know which specific fuses I should connect to? Thanks. Mike

  27. Check out MINI FINI or perhaps even give them a call. See the pic on this particular page. ( They've supported their fellow MINI owners with cool solutions for many years! Actually ran into one of the owners at MTTS a few years ago. ) I installed their sport link (leaves two little cylinders poking out that look like James Bond oil spray gadgets) on my R57 around 2012-2013. It took a little more work than I expected, but did it in the driveway one morning. All a matter of what one calls "not too difficult." Used it with an attachment base that included a 2" receiver hitch. I never towed with it... only used for a bike carrier. I don't have that car anymore, but I *think* I may still have the attachment base stuffed away somewhere. If you go the MINI FINI route, I would be happy to pass it on to another R57 owner... Cheers, Stephen
