Russianrat Posted January 20, 2022 Report Posted January 20, 2022 Hello everyone. My new Countryman came with a little road rash on a couple of the wheels and I am looking for someone to either in Maryland or a mobile service that can come to me. Any recommendations? 1
STXMINI Posted January 21, 2022 Report Posted January 21, 2022 I haven't used them yet, nor do I know who they are, but MINI of Montgomery county said that they use a contractor (Who is supposedly excellent) to contract out their wheel work. I know this because I too have to have my wheels done. If you call the service department and ask for Brian Metheny he could probably give you the name of the shop that does the work
MELO-R56 Posted January 21, 2022 Report Posted January 21, 2022 I've used NV Coatings on 3 occasions and they do incredible work. Had them fix one of my wheels that had road rash and it came out perfect!! Can't recommend them enough! https://nvcoatings.com -STEVE 2009 Mellow Yellow MCS, JCW Aero Package, JCW intake, JCW Steering Wheel, NM Engineering strut tower brace, Nvidia Q300 Cat Back Exhaust, ST XTA Coilovers, Madness Motorworks 22mm Adjustable Rear Sway Bar, GP2 Rear Diffuser, Powerflex front control arm bushings, R112 Black Challenge Wheels, Bridgestone Potenza Tires
Coopah Posted January 21, 2022 Report Posted January 21, 2022 +1 for NV coatings! I had some minor rash when I had my rims powder coated. Perfect job and very nice group to work with.
BendersMINI Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 I'll pile on... another NV Coatings fan. Plus I am mildly ashamed to admit that the road rash was a bit more than what I would call mild on one wheel. But you can't tell now... 2021 F54 JCW - Midnight Black
