GEICO will cover $357 of any of these with our policy. MoCo is looking at Ernie this morning since we are still considering if it is repairable. That is, can they seal it to keep it from spidering or should the windshield be replaced. Decisions, decisions. They are letting the crack dry overnight and will fill it tomorrow. Also, if you are thinking about having a replacement performed at a dealer, inquire as to who does the work. Not the best since you can still see a hairline crack but it didn't cost me anything and it might stop the crack. The winter is coming and odds are that I pick up a ding or two before spring.
