Mark and I are leaving on Friday night. We are going to stay with his parents in Williamsburg for the weekend.

I hope some more DC people choose to come. It's for a great cause and will be a lot of fun. The ferry ride is only part of the fun!

Since the event is close enough to drive home afterwards, I am just going to make it a day event.

Plus by not getting a room, I will have more MINI mod money

For Your Situational Awareness:

Just got this from the HR MINIs facebook page.

Don't attempt to use the Monitor Merrimack Memorial Bridge Tunnel Northbound this weekend. It will be closed from 8 P.M. Friday night til 5 A.M. Monday morning for repairs!

This affects people coming from the southside (coming up from Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Virginia Beach), but in case you were planning to drive there (visit friends or something) please plan accordingly.

Had a great day!!! We had sunshine in the morning which was very nice. Daisy and Peanut got lots of scratches and love.

I cleaned up on raffle prizes which was very exciting, but Miss Quitta won a really incredible prize worth a ton more then all of my little fun prizes.

We got 68 MINIs on the Ferry and there was room for more.

I think they raised a ton of money for the charity too:congrats::congrats::congrats:

Great job HR MINI!!!

Great seeing all of our DC Metro MINI friends again. Thanks so much for coming out and helping make the event so much fun! And like Ali said, lots of our prizes headed north from Surry. Actually, they all went every which way except my house! I really wanted one of those Real Deal Brazil hats!

The rain held off until we were off the ferry for the most part. Though we did have a bit of a sprinkle for the boat ride.

After all the tabulations were finished, the event raised $1880 for the American Cancer Society.

Thanks again for all that came out and motored with us!
