  1. I actually live in that very neighborhood; walking distance...but it wouldn't be right to walk to a MINI meet.
  2. Thanks! I got the vinyl and stripes from 1060graphics. 3M 1080 is good stuff. Easy to use and reapply if you mess up. I just finished my bonnet stripes (see pics). 99% happy. Minor wrinkle in one of them that I just could't get out. I'll be ordering more vinyl to wrap my headlight trim soon. I think I am done...for now. And yes, that's a crack in the scoop . I pried up at the wrong place. I'll replace it at some point.
  3. Thanks guys. It was a lot easier than I thought. Today I'm going to attempt the hood stripes.
  4. Blacked out my taillight trim with some 3m 1080 vinyl wrap. Took about an hour. Will do the headlight trim next.
  5. Did a little striping today. Total cost about $30 and 3 hours of my time. I'm going to redo my hood stripes in the same style as soon as I order more striping.
  6. The white border on the black bonnet stripe just wasn't sporty enough. For $6, I change the pinstripe to red...
  7. Yeah. Definitely getting carried away. Got home today and my wife had a surprise for me - Black Jack door striker covers!
  8. Another "mod" - Black Jack aluminum pedals.
  9. Does anyone have any recommendations on upgrading the stock halogen fogs on the F56? Mine aren't actually fog lights (apparently, I don't have that option), but they come on when the parking lights and/or headlights turn on. I think they look terrible with the LED headlights and LED rings right above them. Looking to go LED, probably yellow. Oh, and it was nice meeting some of you at today's detailing clinic. Thanks, Mike
  10. Yes, just slightly pull up to move into and out of park. It is spring-loaded. Check out the video at the end of the instructions on the Cravenspeed site. Very easy to install and the knob sits at a perfect height if you like to rest your hand on it while driving.
  11. Okay, maybe I'm getting carried away. I even got a Blackjack EZPass holder!
  12. My great wife bought me some more Blackjack accents for the interior...
  13. Next mod...CravenSpeed red shift ball. Simple install - 20 minutes max. I like it.
  14. Thanks. Just a cover. There is a slight hint of the chrome peeking through near the "S" logo, but not noticeable unless you're standing right over it. Even then it just looks like the sun reflecting off the red.
  15. Thanks. All minor mods for now. Just trying to personalize Coopah a bit.
  16. Next "mod" done - Red Grille Slat from OutMotoring. Pretty close to perfect fit.
  17. And just picked up some Black Jack side scuttles from Mini of Alexandria...
  18. Added a Black Jack gas cap and interior Black Jack trim pieces. Very satisfied with the high quality and perfect fit of the pieces. Next up is my red slat on the front grille. Later comes blacking out the chrome. Not sure if I am going to wrap it or replace the pieces.
  19. Is changing the center trim on the grille to red on a non-JCW Mini frowned upon? Is it as bad as adding an "M" badge to a non-M BMW? I'd like to personalize my Cooper S and I like the look of the red center trim on the grille, but I don't want to be a poser (as the BMW fans call those who add M badges to non-M cars).
  20. Anyone know how to remove the center slat in the F56 Grille (see pic)? I want to black everything out and think it is probably easier to remove this piece. Looks like it is probably held on by clips, but can't get a good look and I don't want to just start tugging on it. Has anyone removed theirs? I'm planning on wrapping all the chrome with 3M 1080 vinyl. Thanks.
