So iv been doing some research on what a phone mount would cost to put on Ender so i could run waze/answer phone and still have it secure while i drive...but the cheapest mount i could find was well above what i was willing to...yes I know im cheap ...So after looking at how a new one mounts and works I decided to try and create my own...Let me know what u think...and if anyone else is interested i could prob get some more metal work too.... atleast get the metal work cut...Total cost to make $0 Template made from cardboard.. Cut from scrap metal stock i got at work and a scrap phone holder i had laying around the house bolted up Final mount up and fitting...Its now drying in the car all nice and plasti-dipped black..Will post an update when its dried..

Chance of precipitation is 30%." Back to you Ali...... The weatherman in me just came out....just had to lol

I must see 10-15 MINI's on my daily drive in/out and not one ever acknowledges that Im even looking in their general direction so I just pass on by and admire a MINI that will never understand what ENDER gets---luv

Me and the fam. will be there around noonish (a bit of a drive) but we wanted to know if there is a playground close by or do we need to bring some toys for the little one

Personally they were way too overpriced for me..recently needed a hose replaced and they quoted mt 1200K...Found a place (Sterling Import Auto) that specializes in BMW and MINI and he only charged me 470 with original parts.. If its under warranty get it done other wise shop around for the non-warranty parts.

I will be at the M&G Tomorrow if you fancy a look ------------------------------------------------------------------ Ok here we Go ------------------------------------------------------------------ **Note: I did this on my lunch break at work to show the ease of doing a quick stripe package** The hardest part about the stripes it the beginning (Stripes lining up) and the end (Peeling off the tape) As everyone knows the tape will pull up the plasti-dip if it is left to dry... So here is what I did... #1: Tape up stripe pattern you wish to do, Mask extra areas you don't want over-spray on #2: Now this is the tricky part as everyone knows how hard it is to get an even coat of plasti-dip on a big area. What you want to do is spray evenly but VERY heavy all of your coats in one sitting **Dont let it dry on you** As you spary continue to spray to the point that it looks like it is going to run..Im still working on the best way to even out the coat but the heavier the spraying the better. #3: Once you get the coating that looks the most even and you are happy with the look IMMEDIATELY peel off all of your tape in the direction away from the Dip taking extra care to not hit the plasti-dip (This has happened to me twice, hence the third try I have to do). Then let it sit and dry for as long as you can. #4: Admire your work or peel it off and try a different pattern I will update this if there is any other ?'s or I think of something else

Thx...Its my second attempt at a Plasti-dip Stripe

So got the news today that ender blew the A/C hose from the condenser to the firewall which I figured phew...at least it wasnt the compressor....then he quoted me a price which about made my head spin 1.2k!!!! For a hose...Has anyone had this issue??? Being new to the area im not to keen on just dropping off my car to just any mechanic so I was gonna see if anyone had a respectable one that could help me out in my position and not try to hamstring me (i.e. payment plan work with me on the price). The car is totally safe to drive from what Ive been told but I have no A/C til I get this hose replaced which turns out is in the bowels of the engine and is a 5 hr job to replace..which means i get killed on the labor. Again thanks for all the help Edit... Just found this Forum post and it is the same problem that I now have... http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/stock-problems-issues/140701-air-conditioning-hose-rubbing-issues.html

Went out to wash ender and get some ice cream with the family earlier and was sitting at the light when a noise came up i had never heard before and then a small puff of white smoke came out from under the hood. I immediately pulled over and popped the hood and didnt see anything life threatening did smell what seemed to be something electrical. Being as I was only a 1/4 mile from home I figured Id get it back and as I was driving I noticed the AC was now blowing outside air and not a drop of cool air. Ids this a mojor problem or did the AC compressor just crap out on me??? Any Ideas??? I tried to contact all three mini dealers in the area and all three were either busy or went to voicemail...Any Ideas??

As this is my old stomping ground, For those that want to go down and not drive back up the same day I have been given permission to offer this to the club. My fathers house is near there and is allowing any members who wishes to can pitch a tent there for the night and drive up the next morning. Just PM me if you wish to do this and I will shoot you the information.
