  4. Dec 21 at 5:00pm Pizzaria Uno 5935 Kingstowne Center Kingstowne, VA 22315-5877 Al is retiring from federal service and moving to FL. We'll miss him at local events but want to wish him off with a dinner and good wishes. We're meeting on the early side in case the crowd gets large so that we can get a table.
  5. Got me before my coffee
  6. For those of us with Dragon Brain we like a place to plan and get excited about the next year. For new members that want to go you need information really early. Especially for accommodations. You can also get event information here http://www.MINIsontheDragon.com Let the obsessing begin!!!!
  7. Psssch She was adorable and sweet
  8. We had fun with Hannah, she was such a free spirit!
  9. I think Corey walked the route at least 5 or 6 times while we all road in our warm cozy MINIs Good thing he's in shape
  10. That was a blast. Corey organized us perfectly and the crowd loved the MINIs. I think I'll be shouting "What do you get when you cross a snowman with a vampire" in my head for a while. That and Hornaments!!!! The walkers were fun, the crowd was fun, the MINIs were awesome. Thanks to everyone that helped out!!!
  11. Sorry you can't join us Catalina
  12. Corey has a map and we are so early that we'll be able to get there. That's why we're heading over so early
  13. I have waterproofed all of the jokes and chatted with Mike at P-Tuning. If it's raining we can pull the MINIs inside, dry them off apply decoration and then send them back out :top: I know Haemish and I will need to do that. Make sure you guys bring microfiber towels
  14. I confirmed with Mike at P-Tuning and they're expecting us Now someone go do a sun dance
  15. I'm looking at the weather and it looks like we should be OK while we prep the cars, during the parade we might get light rain and the heavier rain will be in the afternoon. Let's hope it stays like that
  16. Agreed on the smoking. How do they allow it there? Who wants to host next?
  17. You're like Jello, there's always room. Let me chat with Mark
  18. Biggest turnout yet, I think it was because everyone wanted to wish you Happy Birthday Alex. I had a great time but the smoke was bad, even though our room was non-smoking.
  19. We have to be at PTuning by 7:30 I think it might be too early
  20. Protesters in DC near my office and the Christmas tree lighting is tonight at 5:00 I am sure I'll be late, but I'll be there
  21. I'll text him that you're looking for him. He rarely comes out to the board
  22. Gaffers tape will probably work better in the rain and won't harm the paint. Blue painters tape will leave less residue but I know from autocross it won't stick well in the rain. If you're really worried about your paint apply a light coat of wax or detailing spray first to help with removal later. I agree with Corey (Wow, this is a first) put your stuffed animal inside the passenger seat
  23. I'll probably be there about 6:30, looking forward to seeing everyone. Hoping I can get Mark to come along
  24. So it looks like rain. I'm planning to take some clear packing tape and sealing my signs. We should waterproof our decorations to the best of our abilities
