  1. At that time we can park in commuter reserved parking. If you come in on the Glebe road side of the lot, then take a right. There will be a lot of spaces, especially if you park in the long section vs going all the way into the big square lot. Want to all park there? First MINI in can mark the spot. I'm going to try and get there by 6:45.
  2. So we have 9 Yes and 2 Maybe I'll call the restaurant today and make reservations for 10, but if a maybe decides they're a yes, please update your RSVP. Ali
  3. I love seeing a club member out in the wild
  4. I wanna see if Haemish has a guess
  5. Did Lola and Archie hang out together?

  7. Who was it Catalina? I went into the doctors office this morning and came out to find a Hot Chocolate Clubbie parked next to Tigger. I love when another MINI parks next to Tigger. I tagged them
  8. OK since Craig wants to start a pool on the arrival time of Haemish I'm guessing 7:35 Don't worry Haemish, we'll save you a seat
  9. Oh you could be right, you know I get confused. I do have a DDM, I think what I got confused on was I replaced the K&N lifetime air filter with the DDM CAI. I'm sorry about that.
  10. That's the one I have in Tigger. I like it. If you come to the dinner next week you can take him for a little spin and listen. He's close to yours he has the pulley and CAI, they're the same year so I would think the sound should be similar.
  11. Depends on the one you pick, but they run in the $200 ish range. I'm sure Dan can do it.
  12. I love the eyes under the bonnet of a first gen. If you love Scoopie's whine now, you have to get the Cold Air Intake, then she'll scream.

  15. Well for me, that's awesome. I really wanted to go to this and we're free that weekend. I just hope they don't have any damage from the hurricane. Ali
  16. Well I've been trying and with school and Mom's birthday we just won't make it. Is there a way I can send on a donation for the shelter? Ali
  17. Jono all the details are in his post in the Club house Ali
  18. Will Tigger's antenna be the same as your OEM one? Would love the stubby antenna. Ali
  19. I bought Tigger used through Carmax, who didn't tell me that I had 18 months left on the factory warranty and sold me an extended warranty that ran concurrently. I may have only had half the time on that thing, but I made sure I got them to pay more then I paid for it. So when that one was coming to a close I started looking around. I did speak to a few dealerships, and had the worst customer service experience ever with a random auto warranty company on the web. AAA had the best deal I could find so I took it, MINI of Atlanta had the next best deal and Passport MINI was way higher then anyone. Carmax has now changed their policy and when Mark bought Max they added the extended warranty to the end of his factory warranty. So with them combined he's covered well into 100k Ali
  20. I would have to dig out the policy, but I seriously doubt I have audio covered. I didn't think it was something that anyone covered. I was shocked and pleased that they cover the motors for my convertible top which is frequently excluded. I have an all inclusive policy, if it's not excluded then it's covered. How did you find a 0 deductible at that price? Good work!
  21. That's a great price. I did it with AAA, it cost me about $3800 for 48 more months and Tigger has less miles then your car. I did get the platinum coverage since it would cover my super charger and also had some coverage for the motors of the convertible top. Is the deductible per visit or per incident? Mine is per visit, so I save them up if possible. With the AAA policy it's $100 ded but $50 if I went to an AAA shop. I'll probably just keep going to the dealer and pay the $100. MINIs are expensive to fix, I like having the peace of mind of budgeting out that warranty. Ali
  22. If we go, then sure that would be fun
  23. Oooh animal rescue donations, how cool :ridinghorse:
  24. I sent the pics to my coach to and he liked that sticker too
  25. So we're heading to a friends house for a gathering and they had ordered food from Lost Dog Cafe. As we arrive I see a MINI in their driveway and I start scrambling for a card. Mark knows by now to let me out of the car NOW because I can't miss tagging this MINI. I start shooting up the driveway and I'm literally blocking him from leaving with my body. He starts to shout out the window that he's sorry about being in my way or something. I had him!!! So I introduce myself and give him a card. He was excited! he didn't know we existed. It was a nice Lightening Blue '07 MCS. His plate and the cars name was Uber Car, he loved his MINI. I know he gave me his name, but I forgot it :embarassed: I do remember the cars name
