Our shoot is planned for a Sat, will that work. I know last summer she only wanted people on a Sunday. It would be great to go there since it's only in Shirlington.

Don't forget the dog and cat food supplies if you want to make a donation. I hit up my neighborhood and I got so many donations that Tigger was full and I had to dump it all on Miss Quitta who filled the back of her Escape and delivered the food for me. They were very thankful It honestly is amazing how much you can cram into a Cabrio CRAM IT IN THE BOOT!!!

I have a full face autocross helmet in black, gray and orange with fuzzy kitty cat ears that anyone can borrow if they want to be styling on the track. It's a size small so you need a peanut sized head to wear it.

Once they're on they're on for the season, I'll just plan for no snow or cold weather

I need to get my Rotas on for the shoot, even though I like my winter rims, I want my Rotas back on

Hopefully Craig will come too, he shoots Nikon. Are you a photographer? I love continuos lights, I have a bank of LED lights that I use frequently. My Canon is a full frame, its just an older model. By older model it's about 3 or 4 years old, practically ancient in the camera world. Right now I don't have the money to upgrade, but would probably go used again and still be a little behind in technology. I can't wait to see your new MINI. I haven't seen the copper color yet :top:

I'll probably bring my speedlites but bring your lights too. Are they continuous? I hope anyone coming is going to bring their equipment and be ready to shoot. Last year we had a feeding frenzy of ideas with everyone coming up with fun, new ways to shoot the MINIs. I'm really excited about this years shoot and our new locations that Mike has worked so hard to find. I'll be bringing my Canon 5D, a couple of lenses, Speedlites, light stands, umbrellas, tripod etc. But don't let that stop you if all you have is a phone camera then bring that!!! What kind of equipment is everyone else planning to bring?

Yes chlorine + Ammonia = :dead: (first time I found to use that emoticon) I'm not likely to go the home made route. I have the blue stuff from the gas station in there now. I did a little research and found some stuff from Germany on Amazon, it's a concentrate that you mix with distilled water. Great reviews so I'm trying it. It's not cheap, but I hate scrubbing off hard water deposits and Tigger is pristine right now. Must keep him this way. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

What a fun drive in and you don't normally hear me say that about my commute. Just as I was exiting 395 I see a Lazer Blue Clubbie behind me. He followed me all the way across the Memorial Bridge and past the Tidal Basin. As I made my right turn towards 15th I saw him go straight. I stop at the first light and there's a chili red beside me and a dark silver behind me. The chile red woman got all happy when I waved and she waved back. Light turned green I hopped in behind her and we lost the dark silver at the next light. She and I road together down 15th till she headed off and I had like 2 blocks to work. It was fun and made my morning happier :rock: :top: MINIs and waves :wavey: A nice way to start the morning
