1. A sense of adventure!
 2. I may have harassed him a little about not naming his VW, where's the love?
 3. If someone brings the right flashlights. I'll try to remember my led bank of lights. I think they're good for light painting. I've done very little of it but I am taking a workshop on it this week while I'm in Atlanta
 4. I'm sure we'll be there! Thanks for hosting

 8.
10:00PM to avoid the tourists on Friday night April 11th

I checked out the Tidal Basin and it's totally closed off. Hains Point has a slew of amazing cherry blossoms and they're close to the road!!!! I think it's our best bet

We'll meet at one of the parking lots at Hains point. Here is a link to the map

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4aiDuIIohIIREppUXFiUnB3d2s/edit?usp=sharing

I put an orange circle around the lot with a big arrow pointing to it. It's a smallish lot right near the start of Hains Point. We'll then drive to the tip where all of the trees are in blossom and find some areas where we can take long exposure pics of our MINIs or the scenery.

If you want to take pics you probably want to bring a tripod. We will be 4 days before a full moon so that may help with light.

After that we can grab a bite to eat somewhere. Picking the restaurant will depend a lot on how many people we have with us. Maybe we can head into Pentagon City or Crystal City which isn't far from Hains Point.

If it's raining the event will be cancelled!!!

 10. So I was driving home on Friday on 395 south and I see a BRG in the lane to my right. Then I hear an awesome exhaust to my left and it's a JCW. The JCW was blacked out with dark gray stripes, USMC stickers and a license plate that said SHWAT I jumped in behind him and the BRG jumped in behind me. I stuck my hand out the sunroof to wave and I saw the BRG wave and the guy driving the JCW stuck his hand out the window. I was very happy We motored together for about 3 or 4 miles until we each had to exit. heaven!!! Made my commute awesome
 11. ahhhhh then you need to get me to first put on some good classic rock. I believe I was singing the intro to Kansas, Carry on Our Wayward son when Craig heard me belt it out from inside his MINI with the windows closed and AC on
 12. :highfive: So why were you guys asking me to sing? :musicus:
 13. Good thing our mighty MINIs are nimble!!!
 14. They have a Facebook page now https://www.facebook.com/Britsbythebay
 15. Ditto!!! What a blast. We had a great day. Now if I could have timed the potholes and the oncoming vehicles to not come at the same time that would have been heaven. #$@%%# pot holes!!! As usual the restaurant was great and I got a really nice compliment from one of the waitresses. She said we're one of the nicest large groups that comes in there. Really great run for starting the driving season out with a great day!!!
 16. We passed the exact spot where you pulled Rocco over
 17. Do you have a spark plug socket?
 18. Troublemakers!!!! :ridinghorse::ridinghorse:
 19. Everyone is honking and gesturing on 14th St at rush hour
 20. Changed my mind, we're bringing Tigger. I'll just be careful not to rev too high. He's had 100 miles of DC City driving. I checked with Keith and he said that it should be fine. I also read a slew of forums so I understand the idea with the clutch is to not let the RPMs get too high during the break in period. Must get this clutch broken in before the Dragon and highway miles don't really count.
