1.
A few years back we did dinner and a movie in Essex, MD (east of Baltimore City.) This will be the second time, hense the original name of 'Dinner and a Movie II.'

Who wants to go for some yummy Crab Cakes and a Drive-In movie?

Dinner will be held at By The Docks restaurant in Middle River, MD.

3321 Eastern Blvd.

Middle River, Maryland 21220

This place has some of the best crab cakes that I have ever had, at a very reasonalbe price to boot! If crab cakes really isn't your thing then no worries, they have plenty of things on their menu that can fill your appetite. A proper RSVP count will be required for dinner because this place is very busy and reservations will be a must. Their parking is also typically a bit cramp, so try to get there a bit early to find a spot.

Following dinner we will proceed about 1/4mile down the road to Bengies Drive-In Theatre.

From their site: Quote:

The Bengies Drive-In Theatre features the BIGGEST movie theatre screen in the USA (measuring 52 feet high and 120 feet wide. 6,240sqft) The Bengies Drive-In Theatre features TriPPPle features on almost every Friday and Saturday night, cartoons, vintage trailers and intermissions clips, in-car heaters and dusk till dawn shows. Please note that a radio is required to listen to the movies and you'll be glad you have one because our state-of-the-art FM broadcast system will impress you. AM broadcast is provided as well for your convenience.

We will be arriving at the drive-in after dinner, which will be between 7:00pm-7:30pm. The movie dosn't typically start til 8:30pm or so though. This will allow us to park together and give us some time to chat and enjoy the nistalgia of the drive-in. I would recommend you bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. You know how you can sit at a light and have to crane your neck so you can see it? Probably going to be the same thing with the movie so your visibility will increase if you sit outside of your MINI. Note: If you have DRL's active you must have a way to block off your headlights to gain admittance into the drive-in. Best way to do this is a paper bag and painters tape. Special note about Bengies: They do charge extra to bring in food, so it'd be a bad idea to get a doggie bag at dinner. You can lie and say there is no food or drink in the car, but that is not recommended. (That goes for wine in the boot too Mr. You-Know-Who-You-Are.)

Quick recap of the important stuff without all my jabbering.

What: Dinner and a drive-in movie.

Where: By The Docks for dinner and Bengies Drive-In for the movie.

When: August 1st, 6:00pm for dinner and arrival at the drive-in between 7:00pm-7:30pm.

What to bring:

Money, you can plan on how much for dinner by checking the menu online. Cash is a must to get into Bengies as their ticket counter does not accept credit cards.

Something to sit on for the movie. It will make it much easier to see the movie from outside of your MINI.

A sweatshirt or jacket, it gets chilly at Bengies as there is a river right off their grounds which puts off a cool breeze.

Questions: Feel free to PM me with any questions you have.

RSVP: RSVP early please, as we will have to make reservations for dinner. If you will be at the movie but won't be joining us for dinner make sure you let me know to not count you in the dinner count. Also I will give you my cell phone number so that we can figure out how to get you arriving at Bengies at the same time as the rest of the group (Bengies tells us where to park upon arrival.)

 11. I have a used K&N Cold Air Intake that is coming off of my car as I revert back to stock. I am looking for about $50 for it. (retails around $175 new last time I checked) It has about 10,000 miles (likely less) on it, and needs to be cleaned again. It is for a 1st Generation Cooper.
 12. Hey folks, I might make my way out to this one. Depending what the old work schedule looks like.
