  1. No worries man, no worries. Just figure out when you'd like to do the install and we can set something up.
  2. Don't be sleeping under the car later!
  3. Oh, I should add that it's never had anything but a Nikon in either so it's still "Pure"...

I may come hang out with you guys for a little while. That's only 3 miles from our place!
  5. If it won't work with them, I've got one that will. Just let me know and I'll drag it along to an event if the above doesn't work out.
  6. I had that happen in my Toyota pick up. It was like the slave cylinder vomited on the ground and I was stuck. Luckily, I was less than a mile from home and it was a 4WD. I put the transfer case in low, engaged the clutch pedal and started the truck up. 1st gear all the way back home... Let me know if I can help with the repairs!
  7. works for me, please pass the address on. I'll have the garage doors open.
  8. Early? I'm planning on heading out for a short little run by 6:30, I'll be back by 7:15.
  9. +1 - great to hear. Saturday is a go if it works for you. The Sears guy will be here at some point to figure out why the lawnmower is acting up so I'll be around.
  10. I think in most cases, you are okay but there's always that one LEO that's gotta be a PITA... Luckily, I haven't run into him/her yet. I think my tint is a little dark since the % doesn't take the factory tint into consideration. When the LEO tests it, the light meter they use is pretty "dumb" so it just gives a number.
  11. I like that look!
  12. Do you know how hard it is for me to not make some kind of SA comment? Can't wait to see the photo when it's uploaded though!
  13. Ya know, I didn't even take a picture of that. I was standing at attention while Steve played Taps so I wasn't able to use the camera!
  14. They do.
  15. I wish I could see the pictures... They are blocked from work.
  16. Abdul, While it's hard to compare 1st vs. 2nd Gen, the difference in either (the tune) is pretty darn big. Several months back, I ran my car on the dyno at one of Mach V's dyno days events. I had an aftermarket intercooler and DoS CAI installed for the baseline pulls. Then, we shut it down and I installed an "out of the box" tune from Alta - using the Access Port and it was an instant 10% gain in HP and 20% gain in Torque that was verfied in subsequent pulls on the dyno. No guessing, no estimating, just hard numbers. Considering the cost of that generic tune and what it did, oh yeah baby, it's worth it! A custom tune on a dyno is even more impressive because you do have so many performance mods. When you get this done, please post your dyno sheet or at least the baseline and tuned numbers so we can all stare in amazement! Craig
  17. Abdul, While I'm a 2nd Gen guy, I can tell you that you want to make the performance mods BEFORE the tune and when it's something as radical as a cam and injectors, it's an easy choice! The change in lift and timing with the cam and then the change in fuel charge volume with the injectors (and the cam timing and lift) could actually be fatal to the engine if the tuned ECU is going the "wrong way". A dyno tune after the change will actually adjust everything to make it work together.
  18. I agree Ali and this is one of those that could get really fun/neat if it's done right. Lets get together to talk technical and I have some lighting ideas too.
  19. Uhhh, yeah. As I stood before the mirror this morning and started to shave, the top of my head said "HEY! WTF did you do to me, I hurt"... It's not funny when you sunburn the top of your head!
  20. Oh no! Now that's an idea! I actually have an idea for a really unique "panoramic image. I'd like to get enough MINIs together to pull them into a very, very tight circle (literally bumper to bumper) and then, sit in the middle on my little garage stool and just spin around to get the circle of cars with a really wide angle lens. I think that would make an awesome panoramic and if we did it in a parking garage, I have enough gel filters that each car could get a complimentary colored strobe light...
  21. We really are sorry about the trip through the outskirts of town today but when we found out about the road closure in Clifton, we had to find another route. We'll do this again and keep all of the run roads in it. You are right Ali, little runs like this, 20 miles or so really can be fun. Here's the link to the full-size panoramic. I don't recommend trying to print it out this size, it's about 90 inches wide and 12 inches tall. It's only 22MB to download!
  22. Here's one of the panoramic photo's that I shot today. Amazingly enough, all of the other cars in the parking lot seem to have not shown up in this image. Ahhhh, the wonders of Photoshop. See, the past 18 months of photography classes are starting to pay off! Had a great time everyone, thank so much for coming out for today's run. If anyone is interested, I can put the much, much larger version of this image on my Flickr site.
  23. After the flat tire on the Fall Color's run two years ago, running out of gas on the way home from the Dragon this year and then today, I think we are all going to take up a collection and buy you at AAA membership!
  24. Cool! It's always nice to meet new people.
