  1. I'm very interested and just need to check calendar and wifey first. Most likely, I'll be a go though.

QUICK NOTE: To anyone considering this... if you're concerned about the price and thinking "for go karts!?"... don't be! These are not the average karts that you find at the mini-golf places in Myrtle Beach. These are high-perf karts on a very high-quality track. So, those that aren't sure, I think if you commit and come you'll have an absolute blast! I've done this twice before and speak from experience!

OK, Payment sent!! I'm in!! :motor:

  3. Ok, so, I've got to get new tires, and I've been running Pirelli P-Zero Runflats. So, I just looked them up on Tirerack, and my mind is blown! They are selling for $131.00 a piece ($524.00 a set of 4)!!! I'm not sure how long that price will go, but seems really good!

  4. While I'm all excited that I might have finally known something technical. I am pretty sure that wheels are balanced independently and rotating them shouldn't matter. But maybe the rotation made an issue that was there before much worse. Let us know if the balance resolves the issue

Ali, you're right! The wheels are balanced off of the car, which corner they get mounted on doesn't matter... which leads to...

    Update!!!

Was totally the balance. I came home and found that two of the tires had weights added and two didn't, I remembered that a front tire had the weights on it so I deduced that both weighted tires needed to be in the front. Sure enough, once IA fixed that (one was on the back and both weighted tires were on the same side) everything was good!

Thanks for all the input, it certainly gave me a narrower scope to troubleshoot.

This doesn't sound right, it shouldn't matter which corner since the wheels should be balanced equally and independently of the vehicle. You may want to have the balance checked.

  5. Anyone have the route sheet for this run? Since I need to visit Luray for class, I might as well enjoy the journey!:motor:

I'd create an event out of it but my focus is primarily scholastic in nature. :stupido:

Are you taking a physics class?
