Donross Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 Curious if there have been improvements since the last time I was there (2017) for cell service. Guess Fontana Village is holding strong in the no coverage. Would anyone happen to know why this is? I pulled this from https://www.att.com/maps/wireless-coverage.html
1975_mini Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 The cell signal is non-existent still last year. 1975 Mini 1000, 998cc A+ w/ K&N air filter, 10" Mamba wheels
SneakyBaron Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 My guess as to why is a mix of national park and not enough population in the immediate area to justify the expense of getting coverage there. Fontana itself does use some network extenders but once everyone starts getting there they get overloaded quickly. I know the extenders work for Verizon so if they are verizon extenders they will not work with AT&T(we use something similar at the hospital). 1
GreenCactus Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 There is WiFi at Fontana, but it can be unreliable.
