Does anyone know what the best way to ship a set of wheels? Just rims, rubber.

If not, anyone driving through Houston in the next 30 days and can shuttle a set of GP wheels for me? LOL

Tires will help protect the rim, but will add greatly to the weight, you should cut out cardboard discs and tape them to the face of the wheel. If you don't want to ship the tires, than 4 boxes with plenty of padding will work and save weight.

If you have access to a shipping pallet and strapping tape (preferably the heavy-duty industrial kind), you'll probably find the rates of a less-than-truckload (LTL) common carrier rates the lowest. (LTL common carriers include the likes of Con-Way, Old Dominion, New England Motor Freight, etc.)
