Thx...Its my second attempt at a Plasti-dip Stripe

Wha????? You need to do a tutorial to explain how. That would be a great look for my husband's MINI Max, he can have stripes and ponder if he likes them.... They look great and I like how they're flat and not glossy

Plasti-dip? Oh boy, can't wait for Celia to see this, she will get on her soap box.

They do look really good. I've got to see those close up. Great job and nice pics.

I will be at the M&G Tomorrow if you fancy a look

Wow! Plasti-dip stripes... bravo! Tutorial please!!!

Ok here we Go

------------------------------------------------------------------

**Note: I did this on my lunch break at work to show the ease of doing a quick stripe package**

The hardest part about the stripes it the beginning (Stripes lining up) and the end (Peeling off the tape)

As everyone knows the tape will pull up the plasti-dip if it is left to dry...

So here is what I did...

#1: Tape up stripe pattern you wish to do, Mask extra areas you don't want over-spray on

#2: Now this is the tricky part as everyone knows how hard it is to get an even coat of plasti-dip on a big area. What you want to do is spray evenly but VERY heavy all of your coats in one sitting **Dont let it dry on you** As you spary continue to spray to the point that it looks like it is going to run..Im still working on the best way to even out the coat but the heavier the spraying the better.

#3: Once you get the coating that looks the most even and you are happy with the look IMMEDIATELY peel off all of your tape in the direction away from the Dip taking extra care to not hit the plasti-dip (This has happened to me twice, hence the third try I have to do). Then let it sit and dry for as long as you can.

#4: Admire your work or peel it off and try a different pattern

I will update this if there is any other ?'s or I think of something else

That sounds fairly easy

Soon someone will plastidip their entire MINI.....

Already been done.

I got a text message from Lona's son yesterday and in it, he asked if I'd ever heard of something called "Plasti-Dip" and he told me how cool it is!

I think I'll introduce him to Celia.
