No AC noise, just hot air. I'll pick up and replace the vcg, I've changed a few so I feel comfy doing that. I will locate the tstat and wp then check for leaks. thanks for the help! I will update.

So I am usually pretty comfortable with breaking open the engine of my cars. For some reason the mini has me intimidated. I have a 09 MCS that has been giving me some worries recently. I have been topping off coolant but it is getting hot and I don't want to blow a gasket. Symptoms: Tick in the back of the motor coolant leak-causing overheating warning possible oil leak between air box and motor no ac (im ok riding with the windows down but the wife isn't) I just changed my front tires and the shop gave me a list of to do's see picture. Will this fix my problems? I need a second opinion before I do these myself. I don't want to get done with these things assuming it will fix my problem, and it doesn't. haha been there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hey guys and gals! I want to apologize about the lackluster winter season on instagram. I have been dealing with the closest thing to chaos in my personal life so my hobbies kind of suffered. We are back on track! Reminders of those of you who don't know. If you use #dcmm and #dcmetrominis your shots will be grouped together when those tags are searched. My light just came on too! I am living in PA now though so i have to make a trip happened. Montgomery Mini gave me a quote for 600 on the front alone :banghead: I very quickly decided I am going to do them myself. I want to upgrade them. Any one have preferences?

Are there any problems with posting this on the DCMM Instagram Page?

I may not be able to go to MTTS but I did have some fun with a bunch of bikes on 95 last night at about 11pm. I got tired of them blocking the road off trying to do tricks. The looks on their faces when I flew by them in a turn lane was priceless. :motor: Needless to say they caught up to me but I messed around with them for about 10 miles. at excessive speeds. Thank goodness for the radar...

Also it gets darker with more layers.

So, I didn't know if i should have posted this in the " Plasti-Dip Thread or if there is a "de chrome" thread but I came across something awesome last night! I was using the Plasti-dip product "smoke" which is an opaque grey application. I went plasti dip crazy using black on the headlight and tail light chrome trip as well as the grill trim. But I was also Smoking the tail lights on my mini and the tail lights on my wife's mazda when I got this crazy Idea. What would it look like over the Chrome? In the picture you can see I only applied it to the mini badge and then peeled out the center, gas cap chrome for comparison. It kind of matches the silver on the dash! :rock:

Things are going well with the Instagram Page! Thanks to those who are tagging us, and having fun with it. We got show cased on another Mini page. AWESOME! Can some one with the Facebook page get in touch with me? I can connect the instagram to facebook so the pictures show up on both sites. :rock:

I might come out and play i'll have to check the schedule. Although no one replied i got to toy with a couple minis on rt 50 and even a Porsche Carrera

I would say do both. The @dcmetrominis notifies our instagram that some one tags us. So it catches our attention. The #dcmetrominis will add it to the list of other photos with the same tag creating a collection of all of the photos tagged by #dcmetrominis So do both! Any members can send and email with a couple pictures from events to instagram@dcmetrominis.com that way the groups instagram can send them out and brag about doing cool things :top:

Good Morning Everyone I was looking through some users and tags on Instagram and realized we don't have much of a presence. :idea: Now I am new to the club but I think we should move to get one up and running. I volunteer to run it as well. We can feature cars that are members and cars that aren't. It will drum up business and maybe new members. I would be able to get an email address and have some of the club members who attend events send me photos from each event with a DCMM attendance and not have to go to every event. I don't know how to formally request to do this for DCMM but the DCmetrominis tag on instagram is not taken and I'm ready to get it set up! What are the other users opinions? Do you use instagram?
